I was listening to George Noori's show last night (Coast to Coast) and someone said she thought Fitzgerald had been involved in some cover up in the past. I have no idea if it's true, or any details - has anyone else heard of this? I'm really saddened that Rove has not been indicted at this point and that maybe this investigation won't go far enough. Maybe I'm jumping the gun but I'm wondering what's up with Fitzgerald. Is he on the level?

Yeah, I think he is "on the level" as you are going to get in the DC circle.

One thing, he doesn't want to bring any indictments that will fail...I think all prosecutors are like that, they always fall on the prudent side.

Secondly, he is dealing with some really slippery bastards, so the going, as far as getting indictable info, has prolly been pretty rough.

An indictment of Libby and keeping Rove(r) under a cloud, should be enough to keep lil georgie's panties in a wad.

Yes, I think I was getting too excited about Fitzmas. I was having visions of orange jumpsuit wearing neo-cons dancing in my head. The image of the Bush WH crumbling into a steaming pile of malodorous elephant droppings was irresistable.
