Think back. Not too far though. I don't want to overload your brain circuitry. The Big Oil Spill. It was supposed to kill us all, after it wiped out all life in teh gulf. Somehow the Rothschilds were responsible in this latest ploy to destroy humanity. Then it was Corexit. That was supposed to kill us all too. Funny, I don't feel dead. Tell ya what. I'll try walking thru a wall to see if I am a disembodied spirit. Nope. I bumped my nose. Then it was Fukushima. That was REALLY supposed to kill us all too. There were even reports of radiation in my area, in the middle of the fucking USA. I still have a full head of hair that I still get occasional compliments on from the ladies. Then there is the latest fiasco. The "US citizens are going to Guantanamo!" idiocy. Funny how that story has dropped off the radar so quickly. Real Fucking Funny. Now, who here is the main one that promoted these things??? Who was it that tried to get people to panic in each of these situations? And who were the people that called bullshit on all of this? And the sources for these stories are still considered to be reliable sources. I can't help just shaking my head in disbelief that of all things, that is still happening.

could it possibly be that there's an organized effort to fuck up americans' minds? IMO yes, and it is very well organized. I saw that organization in the .mil spending bill that just passed. It was more in-your-face at that time than it was in any other time that comes to mind. It was incredible. why do loony tunes like alex jones, mike rivero and jeff rense deny the existence of peak oil and global warming (which are real threats) and go into hysterics about fukushima, the gulf oil spill, and chemtrails? IMO a better question is "Why do 'free-thinkers' and 'independent people' trust them at all?" They criticize the herd mentality of the sheep, but then they just leave that big herd to join another smaller herd with the same kind of herd mentality that they criticize in others. maybe because the people with the most motive, means and opportunity to commit 9/11 are israel, the israeli americans, their exxon allies, and the looters who will profit from these wars? This is what pisses me off the most. There are life and death consequences to this. There is no room for idiocy, or cowardice. But idiocy and cowardice are in abundant supply. I'm learning that it's about all we have to work with. We're losing this. If we win, it won't be because of our efforts. It will be because the opposition has lost through their own stupidity and greed. -------------------------------------------------------- i'm starting to think of human stupidity as a survival mechanism... it would work like this: theres something coming down the pike, something nasty, people can sense it, and a jillion different theories --no matter how loony-- spring up to explain what's happening. the different factions of believers all believe they've got the pure truth, and they cling to their version of the truth no matter how much evidence piles up against them. the survival comes in when you start counting up the huge number of factions... the odds are --out of such a huge number of possibilities-- somebody's gonna be right, and they'll survive. the dumb ones, the compliant ones, will die off... the faction ringleaders and hired guns might have stacked up enough loot to survive --their only real belief, right from the start, was in loot and/or power, and the successful looters will survive, too... something's got to account for their presence in the gene pool.
i got to say, though, that no amount of loot will last forever, so it looks like, in a few thousand years, we'll all be impoverished people living on an impoverished planet, provided that some faction of true believers or other doesnt poison the planet beyond its capacity to sustain any life at all. of course, medical science may progress to the point that humans will become hybridized with cockroaches, the better to withstand radiation left over from the nuke wars.

it's inevitable that a rational discussion of our situation will be inundated by remarks from drama queens, true believers of all stripes or their hirelings. but that's okay, since it helps weed out the gullible and weak minded. besides, at this impotent level of discussion, we still can afford to believe in free speech, including speech from drama queens, true believers and their hirelings.
i was north of the magnetic north pole in 1975, living on the sea ice, looking for oil. why? in 1976 (nope, it was 1981... i just looked in my logbook), i was 12,000 feet in the rockies, in some of the most inhospitable terrain in america, looking for oil. why? if any of you texans doubt peak oil, if you have a conscience, you are obligated to ask around... ask the people who own the wells... ask the people whose wells started going dry in the 70s. peak oil could be a conspiracy theory? ...more likely peak oil is, once you cut through the bullshit, the most likely, simplest, explanation of our situation... then you can throw israel into the mix... and the dawning realization that israel and supposed jewish values cannot coexist.
Give them enough rope and, just as surely as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, they will hang themselves. The drama queens love the pat on the back. That is all they care about; being big fish in a small pond. There is no focus. What is needed is a decentralized strategy that isn't based on following some megalomaniac(s), and tactics to achieve those strategic aims. We know things suck, we just don't know who to trust or what to do about it, except to tell others how much things suck. And if things don't suck enough then they will make things up. i spent a big part of my life "trusting" people who'd give me advice that i knew was haywire, "trusted them" out of politeness. i was young enough, strong enough then --my theory went-- to deal with the consequences... and there was always the "benefit of the doubt" attitude... those assholes might be right. i'm not so polite anymore, and now the only person i trust is myself... but i got to admit that i've done things that have no place in my theory of how it all works, and i suspect there are things at work i dont know about. i'd like to think i'm finally in control of myself, but i've always been a fool, and it seems unlikely that i've changed much.
but i think this is how it works... you do something, under what influence the gods only know, that puts you in a hole. if you're too fucking stupid to realize what a hole you're in, you can progress normally, according to your talents... maybe you'll eventually be CEO of exxon. but there's that handle sticking out of you, and maybe you'll give up on nuke power plants if somebody grabs that handle and starts prying. if you're smart enough to realize you're in a hole, you also realize you're vulnerable to manipulation, and you avoid situations where you can be exploited.

I am trying not to be gloom and doom but this spill is, even if were stopped today, catastrophic in its impact on the gulf. Another 30 to 90 days and it will include the lower Atlantic seaboard as it spreads out via the gulf stream. No, this is now the worst oil catastrophe in human history and it holds the potential to be the last.

I've read somewhere that we are all here to learn. If one doesn't learn what they need to know in one life, they come back and live again in an another life to learn what it was they didn't learn the first time. The cycle repeats until a soul is truly ready for the next higher level of existence. For some people, due to their actions in a previous life, their current life may well be a form of hell. For others, it could be a relative form of heaven on earth, if they lived a good life the last time around. I suppose in Catholic terms, you could view this existence as purgatory. One thing I've noticed. The truly pure and good of heart often die young.
