The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.

Those 3 were pretty good.

The dog and rabbit reminds me of a dog my grandparents had. It was a small terrier type too, but not a pit. That dog accompanied us into their garden where it flushed a nest of baby rabbits. It hunted them down and ate them whole, one after the other.

The bottom vid, well, it was probably the first time it ever took a bath. It just wasn't used to getting itself wet.

Somebody ought to tell the truth about the Bible. The preachers dare not, because they would be driven from their pulpits. Professors in colleges dare not, because they would lose their salaries. Politicians dare not. They would be defeated. Editors dare not. They would lose subscribers. Merchants dare not, because they might lose customers. Men of fashion dare not, fearing that they would lose caste. Even clerks dare not, because they might be discharged. And so I thought I would do it myself... Robert Ingersoll

That explains a lot.

It is vital to understand that there is no truth without discernment and no wisdom without the truth. What then is “faith” but an effort to confound truth and wisdom?

What, you don't appreciate my anecdote???

ps, I hunt rabbits too... I could tell you about the time I shot one that was a little too close to me. But I'll spare you. I'm merciful.

I'm grateful for your lenience and compassion.

Are you really?

That is worthy of testing.

Place yourself upon your knees, woman, that I may ... anoint you with my .... mighty mercy and compassion. In this way you may show your gratefulness.

"The real deal is this: the ‘royalty’ controlling the court, the ones with the power, the ones with the ability to make a difference, with the ability to change our course, the ones who will live in infamy if we pass the tipping points, are the captains of industry, CEOs in fossil fuel companies such as EXXON/Mobil, automobile manufacturers, utilities, all of the leaders who have placed short-term profit above the fate of the planet and the well-being of our children." - James Hansen

That's pretty fucked up dude. Not much meat on them to begin with, and unless you're out in the wilderness there's no need to eat rabbit, there's plenty of tasty meat at the market that's waiting for you.

In a balanced universe, a Korean family would have moved next door and the dog would have ended up "missing". Maybe they could have invited you and your grandparents over for some special Korean "meat" dish...

LOL
