When did it all go so wrong?

I remember a time in the early 70's when things began to open up and you could carry small amounts of marijuana, and smoke in public, and in most places police tolerated it. People almost believed it would be legal soon.

Now it can get you or at least your dogs shot, and police arn't police anymore, they are militarized thugs.

When did it go so wrong? How much farther will it go?

Concentration camps, killing fields, disappearing and gas chambers.

The "concentration camps" in Germany were "work camps", specifically for enemies of the state. They were called "death camps" because of Typhus epidemics which was carried by fleas. The Nazis asked the allies to sell them DDT and they were refused. The Germans used whatever they had available, I believe it was Xyklon-B which they used.

In Cambodia, the death fields were real. The Khmer Rouge rounded up people and slaughtered them by the hundreds and thousands.
