Money is the lifeblood, the oxygen, of political campaigns. It would be nice if candidates were made to wear the logos of their financial backers the way Nascar drivers wear them all over their racing clothes, or the way cattle wear brands. In fact, once election day is over, the winners have to start immediately on building up their funding for their re-elections. And let's not be all sanctimonious about public funding of Presidential campaigns; anyone who get high enough to run for Prez has already sold his soul for the lesser offices he held.

It still amazes me how I can sometimes totally agree with someone who most of the time makes me want to hurl. lol

We are not allowed to make a decision as mundane as what kind of lightbulb we're going to use anymore, but we're allowed to choose who runs the city, state, and fedgoob? Give me a break. - Esso
