The indefinite detention of Americans legislation probably has much to do with financier objectives to foreclose and seize the assets of "detained" citizens who would be unable to work towards paying their mortgages, car loans, business loans, and such if held for very long. IOW, more of their "Judicial Genocide" schematics to make people homeless, transportationless, unemployed, unemployable, impoverished to death, and so on.
The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.
