Ron Paul furrowed his eyebrows before storming off completely during a CNN interview addressing allegations that he made money and won fame with the help of a sometimes racist series of newsletters back in the 1990s. Paul is the same candidate that many have said has been ignored by the media -- some would say, though, he's not -- but since he's been climbing in the polls and suddenly appears to be a real contender in the Republican primary race, the media's turned up the heat. CNN's Gloria Borger was just starting to grill Paul about the details of his involvement in the racist newsletters, when the candidate stonewalled her. "Why don't you go back and look at what I said yesterday on CNN and what I’ve said for 20-something years. 22 years ago?" Paul said right at the outset. "I didn't write them, I disavow them, that's it."

Borger, like a good journalist, pressed on for a few seconds before urging Paul to react to what people are saying about the two-decade old allegations. "These things are pretty incendiary," Borger said. "Because of people like you," Paul snapped back, just before he pulled of his microphone and headed for the door. "I appreciate your answering the questions, and you understand it's our job to ask them," the reporter said, almost apologetically as Paul was leaving.

Later, when talking about the incident on air, Situation Room host Wolf Blitzer suggested that Paul "got tired of talking about" the allegations. "He clearly thinks it's irrelevant," Borger told Blitzer. "It’s clearly a question he’d rather not be asked."

Poster Comment:

Newsletter would have never become an issue had Paul declared unequivocal support for Israeli terrorists stealing land from Palestinians, as has been done by all of the pro-Israel toadies seeking the presidency. From among 9600 comments:

GaryB • Carlinville, Illinois From a friend: Bruce Duncan Yes, the leftist media has been bringing up this red herring since 2004. The comments in the newsletter took place in 1999. Dr. Paul says the writer said things with which Paul vehemently disagreed, and Paul had no prior knowledge that th...e item was going to be printed in his newsletter. He said discharged the parties responsible, and no-one has contradicted him on his account of what took place. Further, there has been NO recurrence of this in the 12 years since. Since this issue has been repeatedly raised, and repeatedly denied by Paul and his top representatives, Dr. Paul seems to feel, understandably that the media won't let go of this non-issue because it's the only "bottom-of-the-barrel- scraping" that they have, to try to discredit him and his Constitutionalist message. I, and all of his supporters agree with Dr. Paul, and feel unanimously that the establishment and their captive media are scared of this loyal, patriotic, incorruptible man, who has never taken a dime of corporate money in his 30+ year political career. This same media, that is trying to smear Ron Paul, has conveniently ignored all of Gingrich's votes in favor of draconian gun-control laws, his support of the individual health care mandates that are part and parcel of Obamacare, and his support of all the internationalist trade agreements that have caused the export of hundreds of thousands of decent-paying jobs from America, to countries that spit on us at every opportunity. When reading something of this nature in the news, the one rule I tend to observe, is "Consider the Source."

Ron Paul's old newsletters may well come back to haunt him. He wants to pretend now that not only did he not write the newsletters, but that he didn't even read them. Yet, many of the articles with the most controversial statements are written in the first person, make reference to his background, his hometown, his career, etc.

None of the other people supposedly associated with those newsletters has come forward to say "I wrote that article. Ron Paul had nothing to do with it."

At the very least, if we are to believe his flimsy excuses (after all, he's applying them to at least three different publications for press runs of several years duration), he is a very very poor supervisor of his own close associates.

The more I watch you the more I see that you're definitely here with an agenda.

I'll bet no one here knows you and you obviously have nothing in common with us.

So this is an assignment for you.

I see that shoonra.com is an Israeli cat site.

Shoonra has openly admitted he's written for the ADL's Militia Watchdog.

It's a shame that the defense of the megalomaniacal dream of pawnbrokers and rag pickers ruling the world requires vicious lies, half truths, assassinations and political intrigue of the lowest order.

Those that begin their educations in Montessori (no textbooks-no grades) then complete as Harvard Law School grads (impossible to flunk out if you show up wearing clothes) rely on tribal influence to secure military academy appointments, ambassadorships or appointments as commissioners of pro American sport associations somehow metamorphose into "brilliant overachievers with a tikkun olam mandate". And, no matter how many teachers, rabbis, dentists and lawyers molest their charges and patients or swindle their half blind and crippled clients each case is "an isolated incident". (thousands of "isolated incidents" each year, most of which are buried, lest the charge of anti scz$3%hemitism be leveled) But let one disgruntled Arab throw a rock at a bagel shop and a new federal law (which was already drafted for convenience) is passed! And despite two Jews having three opinions, they're never wrong.

Here's an example:

No healing the world here—Humanistic Jews are ‘building’ the world

Rabbi Greg Epstein addresses the challenge of being 'good without God'

Rabbi Greg Epstein, the young Humanist chaplain at Harvard University, maintains that the question "Do you believe in God?" is totally meaningless and that "tikkun olam," to repair the world, is the wrong concept.

But he also affirms that religion will never disappear and that the "New Atheists" don't have the answers to meeting human needs.

In his 31 years, Epstein seems to have done most everything, from being a singer and composer in a professional rock band to studying ancient Aramaic literature at Jerusalem's Hebrew University.

During a lengthy phone conversation, he previewed some of the points he will raise when he speaks at Rosh Hashanah services at Adat Chaverim, the local Congregation for Humanistic Judaism, points that he analyzes more deeply in his forthcoming book, "Good Without God."

Humanistic Jews do not believe in an omnipotent supernatural power, "but in this day and age, the term God can mean anything you want it to be," he said."

(continued at link)

I'd love to see Shoonra find the quick reply for these ugly allegations in his/her "Desk Reference For World Domination Through, Bribery, Blackmail And Bullshit".

Of course there's always the old standby, "YOU NAZI BASTARD!"

One need only review the photo tours of the decadent palaces Jews once built for themselves in The Catskills for instance to see what they have planned to fulfill their obscenely bloated sense of entitlement. (Future signs will read, JEWS ONLY-Trespassers will be vivisected for organ donation TITLE 18 USC sec. 666)

Those palaces are now crumbling, primarily as a consequence of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which kicked open the doors to resorts where GASP! even German Jews were not welcome! If you ask most Americans (like my fellow Va native Bruce Hornsby) they'll tell you that the law was passed to benefit Africans.

Silly Americans. Tricks are for Yids.
