They like "interventions" overseas. Maybe they'd like us to go into "intervention" mode against their addictions to power and greed.

Absent the Constitution, though, as you say, how would you even be able to make a charge of Treason? It would just be a matter of Darwinist survivalism, in that case, wouldn't it?

This is a very relevant question when you consider that even Jefferson Davis though charged with treason was not tried for treason.
You can't commit treason against a corporation. Davis was released from prison and went into exile in Canada. Has anyone been tried for treason ?
If there were such a thing as treason the current "officials" should all be charged and tried, but I don't think treason exists within the "SOCIALIST CORPORATE COMMERCIAL UNITED STATES"
I personally believe that the Constitution "should" be the Supreme Law of the Land, but that cannot and will not ever transpire until the FED RESERVE is thrown out of America, period.
Americans have "unwittingly" forfeited the common law and the Constitution by participating in a financial socialist democracy through a myriad of benefit programs such as Socialist Security and by acquiescing to licenses and permits that admit by oaths to submission to the FEDS.
Not only that, the STATES have done the same thing. It's the fact that the people and the STATES have voluntarily surrendered their sovereign rights because they're too ignorant, too stupid, and too lazy to figure out what's happening to their lives.
They may become a little more concerned when scratching their heads in the detention centers as they await their execution.
