Just because Israelis say it don't mean it's true. In fact it most likely means the direct opposite.

And I don't remember the world wide web starting Ala C.E.R.N. research till 1997. It wasn't a web till then. Ah I stand corrected. it was 91.

This is an interesting find.

So much for Al Gore's so-called invention of the internet. LOL.

The Internet is 21 years old Today (Dec 25th)

Not really. The first message sent over ARPANET (which was later renamed Internet) was on October 29, 1969.

From Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET)

The first message on the ARPANET was sent by UCLA student programmer Charley Kline, at 10:30 p.m, on October 29, 1969 from Boelter Hall 3420.[7] Supervised by Prof. Leonard Kleinrock, Kline transmitted from the university's SDS Sigma 7 Host computer to the Stanford Research Institute's SDS 940 Host computer. The message text was the word "login"; the "l" and the "o" letters were transmitted, but the system then crashed. Hence, the literal first message over the ARPANET was "lo". About an hour later, having recovered from the crash, the SDS Sigma 7 computer effected a full "login". The first permanent ARPANET link was established on November 21, 1969, between the IMP at UCLA and the IMP at the Stanford Research Institute. By December 5, 1969, the entire four-node network was established.[8]

The term "internet" was established back in December 1974 however.

History of the Internet

The term "internet" was adopted in the first RFC published on the TCP protocol (RFC 675:[29] Internet Transmission Control Program, December 1974) as an abbreviation of the term internetworking and the two terms were used interchangeably. In general, an internet was any network using TCP/IP. It was around the time when ARPANET was interlinked with NSFNET in the late 1980s, that the term was used as the name of the network, Internet,[30] being a large and global TCP/IP network.

"The real deal is this: the ‘royalty’ controlling the court, the ones with the power, the ones with the ability to make a difference, with the ability to change our course, the ones who will live in infamy if we pass the tipping points, are the captains of industry, CEOs in fossil fuel companies such as EXXON/Mobil, automobile manufacturers, utilities, all of the leaders who have placed short-term profit above the fate of the planet and the well-being of our children." - James Hansen

I thought that dog didn't bark. I always appreciate people of knowledge when I am too "out of my league" to explain it and yet understand well enough know something ain't right. Thanks FL.
