I agree with Bobby Hammer on several important points.

1. It is a planned destruction of our economy

Because they want their Global government and a world financial system.

2. Most people are selfish

It's the human condition and the norm imho. I have observed it among those that profess otherwise and it is worse with those that make no claims of altruism. The world is awash in takers. Most people appear good natured on the surface, but when confronted with a situation where there is no benifit for them then their true nature shines through or should I say seeps through. Just watch people in traffic that will tell you quite a bit about humanity... I've met the enemy and it is us...Pogo

Just watch people in traffic that will tell you quite a bit about humanity..

There may be something about interfacing with the automobile that inhibits cognitive sociability, causing rude behavior which wouldn't happen while walking, except maybe when there's a line-up for bargains at WalMart. Even cyclists seem to be less considerate when they're on their machine. The machine seems to inhibit civil behavior.
