TULSA, Oklahoma -

Police are looking for answers after a woman is caught making meth inside the 81st and Lewis Walmart Thursday evening.

Investigators say Alisha Halfmoon gathered the ingredients from throughout the store and started building a meth lab on a store shelf.

Walmart security notified authorities around 6 p.m. after spotting the 45-year-old woman acting suspiciously. They told Tulsa Police that Halfmoon had been in the store for more than six hours.

According to an arrest report, police observed Halfmoon on security tape mixing the chemicals. When Halfmoon was arrested, she had already mixed two containers of sulfuric acid.

Police removed the lab from the store and a team from the Special Investigation Unit disposed of the chemicals. No one was injured.

Halfmoon is now in jail, being held without bond. She was just bailed out of jail two days ago, after she was picked up on drug complaints Tuesday. Previous charges were possession of methamphetamine and using a forged prescription to obtain drugs.

The Tulsa Jail websites lists Halfmoon as a transient.

6 hours. They knew she was there for more than 6 f'n hours. But somehow they didn't know what she was doing for those 6+ hours. In those 6+ hours, a person could probably synthesize enough store chemicals to build a bomb, and no one would have said a thing. Shit, people are stupid.

Sulfuric acid? I never noticed that aisle.

Liquid drain opener. Walmart is the Chinese version of a Sears store.

I knew someone out there would answer that simple bit of puzzlement. Explosives are easy to post recipes for too. But I'll pass on proving that fact.

I don't need any governmental house calls. ;-)

I learned how to make them in Chem Lab 40+ years ago - actually if I recall I was 9 when I got a Chemistry Set for Christmas - same year I learned how to make black powder with a mortar and pestle. My Dad was a believer in the manly arts.

Ah year, even an original Ster Trek episode had that recipe in it. And the Confederates used a cavern located on Union soil to aquire the ingredients they needed to make their gun powder.

Anyone with a knowledge of chemistry on the level of the star character in Breaking Bad could make incredible things from the products located in our commercial stores.

Military non-disclosure agreements people like me have to sign mean I don't even want to talk about the names of what these things are on any more than the most vague level.

Not having worked in demolitions, or directly in Special Ops, I have no such restraints (however, there are other things I can't talk about). I simply wish to avoid the inconvenience of having the Stasi visit my humble abode.

However, say hypothetically someone was buying household supplies I suspect Bleach, Coffee Filters, and a couple other items might be handy to have around. ;-)

Of course one could also visit the Garden Center and pick up a few pounds of Bat Guano (the high "N" type) and perhaps some Horticultural Sulfur they might at some point prove useful - for the garden of course.
