I wonder what the mathematical odds are concerning a virtual three-way tie at 23% of the vote, with a virtual nobody such as Santorum being in that top-three tie.

At 10:45 PM EST, with 88%, Santorum and Romney each about 24% and Paul about 21% - - but the former favorites - Gingrich, Perry, Bachmann - 'way behind the curve. This will give Paul a big boost, also Santorum, but maybe it hammer down the lid on Newt and the others.

The Conventional Wisdom was that Iowa doesn't speak for the nation. But, by golly, Iowa's votes do count for something and this should indicate that Gingrich and Perry will not win the election in the farm states.

i'm gonna float a little theory here...

it could be that crusader bunnypants was scheduled to be the last republican president of the US... it's likely that obama will be the last democratic president, and the last president, period.

ron paul's function is this caper is to take a sounding on military support for ron paul's ideas --discarding most of the domestic libertarian goofiness and concentrating on his foreign policy... if we're to believe the polls, the military overwhelmingly supports ron paul... but ron paul is too old,and the situation is not yet ripe for a military takeover... if we follow the russian pattern, the military industrial complex will eventually take over, and there'll be a long tenure of some figure like stalin to front the transition from faux democracy to outright fascism... ron paul is too old.

meanwhile, the most dangerous flash point is the blacks, who've been pacified by the obmama presidency... that should hold for another few years if obama is "reelected"... and that will give the situation time to ripen, until a fascist/military dictatorship can be established...

meanwhile, we can continue to stir up as much racial hatred as possible, in anticipation of the race wars that will distract us from the real problems.

so, start tearing this theory apart, boys and girls... i'd hate to turn into a prophet.

Who knows what the overall plans of the demons are, but they do have Trump who recently converted to independent, waiting in the wings to spoil any third party run by Paul. They have covered all their bases in their effort to maintain the illusion of of a democratic vote, but made sure they still have a puppet sitting in the oval office.

In this place where they scoff at Paul and think we're naive to support him, they goofed tonight, left orders for me to find a story on developments in Iowa and get it into the paper, then they went home. *s

I reserved a prominent place with color for his mug (I mean the candidate's mugs) then proceeded to edit the BS out of their story and just to be politcaly correct, not show bias, I put the three names in alphabetical order for the headline and three mugs in story. Ron Paul got a fair presentation in one newspaper this night.

Like tossing a pebble in the ocean, yet it felt good anyhow *s

Romney, Santorum neck and neck in Iowa - CNN.com

Few Republicans in Iowa believe Perry will nab one of the coveted top three spots on Tuesday night, but Perry's team argues that two of the likely top finishers -- Paul and Santorum -- are not viable candidates in the long run.

A fourth place finish, in the Perry campaign's view, would eliminate Gingrich and leave Perry as the only strong conservative alternative to front-runner Romney.

"I'm the only person who has got a national organization, who has the ability to raise the money nationally, and has the ground game in these other states to do that," Perry said hours before the Iowa caucuses. "... It's not Rick Santorum. And frankly, Rick is going to have a real problem when he leaves and people start vetting his background from a fiscal conservative standpoint. This guy is the king of earmarks and pork barrel spending. ... He's got some real bags that he's going to have to explain to people, and that's going to be a problem for him."

obama isnt scary enough to be the transition/consolidation leader... he's a placeholder, but his race ought to be good for stirring up violent race hatred amongst white supremacists...

that that hatred will come in handy when it's time to start the race wars.
