and "they" say Paul is unelectable??? Let Santorum be the GOP candidate and it'll make McCain's defeat look like a close race.

I wonder what the mathematical odds are concerning a virtual three-way tie at 23% of the vote, with a virtual nobody such as Santorum being in that top-three tie.

At 10:45 PM EST, with 88%, Santorum and Romney each about 24% and Paul about 21% - - but the former favorites - Gingrich, Perry, Bachmann - 'way behind the curve. This will give Paul a big boost, also Santorum, but maybe it hammer down the lid on Newt and the others.

The Conventional Wisdom was that Iowa doesn't speak for the nation. But, by golly, Iowa's votes do count for something and this should indicate that Gingrich and Perry will not win the election in the farm states.

i'm gonna float a little theory here...

it could be that crusader bunnypants was scheduled to be the last republican president of the US... it's likely that obama will be the last democratic president, and the last president, period.

ron paul's function is this caper is to take a sounding on military support for ron paul's ideas --discarding most of the domestic libertarian goofiness and concentrating on his foreign policy... if we're to believe the polls, the military overwhelmingly supports ron paul... but ron paul is too old,and the situation is not yet ripe for a military takeover... if we follow the russian pattern, the military industrial complex will eventually take over, and there'll be a long tenure of some figure like stalin to front the transition from faux democracy to outright fascism... ron paul is too old.

meanwhile, the most dangerous flash point is the blacks, who've been pacified by the obmama presidency... that should hold for another few years if obama is "reelected"... and that will give the situation time to ripen, until a fascist/military dictatorship can be established...

meanwhile, we can continue to stir up as much racial hatred as possible, in anticipation of the race wars that will distract us from the real problems.

so, start tearing this theory apart, boys and girls... i'd hate to turn into a prophet.

Who knows what the overall plans of the demons are, but they do have Trump who recently converted to independent, waiting in the wings to spoil any third party run by Paul. They have covered all their bases in their effort to maintain the illusion of of a democratic vote, but made sure they still have a puppet sitting in the oval office.

In this place where they scoff at Paul and think we're naive to support him, they goofed tonight, left orders for me to find a story on developments in Iowa and get it into the paper, then they went home. *s

I reserved a prominent place with color for his mug (I mean the candidate's mugs) then proceeded to edit the BS out of their story and just to be politcaly correct, not show bias, I put the three names in alphabetical order for the headline and three mugs in story. Ron Paul got a fair presentation in one newspaper this night.

Like tossing a pebble in the ocean, yet it felt good anyhow *s

Romney, Santorum neck and neck in Iowa - CNN.com

Few Republicans in Iowa believe Perry will nab one of the coveted top three spots on Tuesday night, but Perry's team argues that two of the likely top finishers -- Paul and Santorum -- are not viable candidates in the long run.

A fourth place finish, in the Perry campaign's view, would eliminate Gingrich and leave Perry as the only strong conservative alternative to front-runner Romney.

"I'm the only person who has got a national organization, who has the ability to raise the money nationally, and has the ground game in these other states to do that," Perry said hours before the Iowa caucuses. "... It's not Rick Santorum. And frankly, Rick is going to have a real problem when he leaves and people start vetting his background from a fiscal conservative standpoint. This guy is the king of earmarks and pork barrel spending. ... He's got some real bags that he's going to have to explain to people, and that's going to be a problem for him."

So now we're back to only a 37 vote difference between the two sock puppets, with Paul still lagging behind by around 3900.

Is there anyone else besides me that is thinking that Ron Paul got seriously fucked over because of the secret counting location, and of course, the Israeli owned auditors?

Can't be ruled out, but then again, we also can't rule out the inclination of the Republican masses to continue to vote for the status quo of standard politics and more war mongering and empire building. We really can't objectively rule that out either.

In any event, Ron did much better than a bunch of others, and 2) it's way to early to count anyone in or out of the race. Being in the top three should allow Ron more voice time in future debates, which means more broadcasting of his message. Ron will see his performance in Iowa as a positive thing to build on and we should not detract from his optimism.

Iowa has a little more than 3 million people. 22.6% are under 18 leaving around 2.3 million people. Say another 10% are ineligible to vote for whatever reason and you still have around 2.1 million people, yet less than 100,000 people turned out to vote. Fucking pitiful. I guess perpetual war, big government, and an ever increasing police state means nothing to these people. The chains they are voluntarily placing around our necks today may feel light but I bet they will feel damned heavy to our children and grandchildren.

After watching the video you posted it reminded me of something that I thought about earlier today.

There are people who support Romney because they like him better than the others, there are people who support Perry because they like him better than the others. But most people don't just support Dr. Paul because they like him better than the rest, no it goes much deeper than that. A large segment of Paul's supporters are rabid about Paul and love this man, I know cause I feel this way and I know many others that do also. So what he says in this speech really hits caring humans right in the heart.

Oddly enough, when I said they were only 51 votes apart, Santorum's next count ended with 51, and now I just said they are 37 votes apart, Romney's count now ends with 37?

Coincidence? Could they be reading 4um (would they even bother?) and decided to screw with us, or to alert us that THEY ARE in fact FABRICATING THE NUMBERS?

Strange.

Too late. The GOP has made it clear that they despise us and everything we believe in and stand for. Anyone who would cast a vote for a Republican after being treated the way the GOP has treated us is a damned fool who deserves everything he gets. While I'll never cast a vote for a Democrat, I damn sure will never cast another vote for a Republican either - unless that Republican's last name is Paul.

Considering that Ron Paul was so ruthlessly marginalized by Faux News and much of the media, his finish "in the money" (to use a racetrack expression) constitutes something of a win for him and may boost him considerably. Santorum and Romney being so very close (at this moment, 12:50 AM with 99% counted, only about 35 votes difference) constitutes a win for both, but obviously not a clear mandate for either of the three. However, Gingrich and Perry ending so far behind should be an unsubtle hint to them to go home.

I'd say a vote difference of 5 votes is as pretty near to impossible as it gets.

As soon as they announced the move of the tally I knew "the fix was in". As I suggested I thought Ron Paul was likely well in the lead so notice over the last 4 or 5 days there has been a lot of media spin about Newt McRomney and Rick Scrotum "closing the gap". However, Ron Paul was likely to win an honest count so they could not allow an honest count.

While the fundies might drop Scrotum that is possibly part of the strategy in picking someone who cannot beat Oh'bummer in the General.

I'm sure it was above 30% but thats just me

Were there really just a little over 100,000 people in Iowa interested in casting a vote for the next Republican nominee, where MANY people of ALL stripes see Ron Paul as the only person who can save this Nation from destruction?

Considering there are roughly 3 million people in Iowa, did only 3% feel it important enough to disturb their busy schedule?

The only way it changes is for a lot more people to get mad enough and scared enough to get involved. We need boots on the ground and lots of them. Of course that is part of their strategy in crashing the economy - people are too busy scraping out a living under a ruinous tax load to spare a lot of time.

It's just a passing thought, but I'm sure a coup would result in one hell of a clash between the establishment and forces loyal to the US Constituation.

Perhaps that's what that NDAA and those FEMA camps are for.

The problem they run into though is that, though they would like to, they cannot lock up 25 to 50 percent of the country. That is why they want to kill off such a large chunk of the population through their depopulation programs - so as to reduce the numbers to what they think is a manageable level. The problem is that people are not white lab rats and they have been relying upon Psychiatric and Psychological models that treat "man" as a stimulus-response mechanism - that only works up to a point and only only on the weak of mind. "Man" is not a white lab rat.

So I regularly pray that either Jesus comes back and cleans house or some benevolent race of advanced beings take pity on us and helps, short of that I really don't have much hope that things will change any time soon. I read alexander solzhenitsyn's gulag archipelago and I realized that men in uniform will do whatever they are told. And it's worse when thats the only viable job they can count on, they will follow orders. This is the path we are on I'm afraid to say....

i'm gonna float a little theory here...

it could be that crusader bunnypants was scheduled to be the last republican president of the US... it's likely that obama will be the last democratic president, and the last president, period.

ron paul's function is this caper is to take a sounding on military support for ron paul's ideas --discarding most of the domestic libertarian goofiness and concentrating on his foreign policy... if we're to believe the polls, the military overwhelmingly supports ron paul... but ron paul is too old,and the situation is not yet ripe for a military takeover... if we follow the russian pattern, the military industrial complex will eventually take over, and there'll be a long tenure of some figure like stalin to front the transition from faux democracy to outright fascism... ron paul is too old.

meanwhile, the most dangerous flash point is the blacks, who've been pacified by the obmama presidency... that should hold for another few years if obama is "reelected"... and that will give the situation time to ripen, until a fascist/military dictatorship can be established...

meanwhile, we can continue to stir up as much racial hatred as possible, in anticipation of the race wars that will distract us from the real problems.

so, start tearing this theory apart, boys and girls... i'd hate to turn into a prophet.

you know what? i'm tired of being hopeful. seriously, how can we think a government who would murder presidents and wage wars that kill millions would ever allow a Ron Paul to threaten or change its course. the only thing that's going to change this course is when the evil finally destroys itself...and it might just take the whole damn planet with it.

I guess "hopeful" isn't quite what I'm focusing on. Sorry. I can definitely empathize with your frustration. You work hard to make a difference and then nothing ever changes. Been there, done that. Maybe my being outside the country dulls my sentiment a bit.

The unfortunate reality in this crappy pluralistic voting system (vote only for one of a set of candidates) is that the winner may not reflect the will of the majority. RP probably needs some 40%+ support from the people at large because as these competing clowns drop out of the race, their supporters are less likely to go to Paul and more likely to go to a fellow war instigator still running. So even if he had won tonight with < 30% of votes, then there would still be a lot of work to do before hope enters the equation.

If there is massive fraud bringing his vote totals down from 40-50% levels then that would be brazen of the PTBs as it much harder to hide that amount of fraud. But worse has been pulled, I'm sure.

can you tell i'm just a wee bit pissed off?

I can tell, even though it's still very hard to imagine! :)

They're more than likely offering thanks to the demons they worship, no doubt about that.

The chains they are voluntarily placing around our necks today may feel light but I bet they will feel damned heavy to our children and grandchildren.

Why should we care? We have been sitting on our fat asses pounding on the computer keyboards 24/7 instead of working our asses off. I know the real Paul supporters were out drumming up real support. Hammering the keyboard constantly on this and other froums is tantamount to preaching to the choir. What we should have been doing is the opposite.

The hammering continues beginning last night. Instead of celebrating a Paul victory in Iowa, those keyboards are busy pounding out woe is us.Those who do this are on here constantly! The computer is just as bad if not worse than television!

There are 49 other states to go and there is still time to help Ron Paul get the nomination if we really cared for the future of this nation and the bleak future our children and grandchildren face. Apparently far too many sit at the computer smoking and sipping God knows what, preaching to the choir, and letting the PTB have their way.

The American sheeple are shameful!

I'm not trying to put you down, but those tag lines do nothing but waste bandwidth. It is ok to post a quote like the one above for a few days as it may encourage some to tarry on. Other than that, those tag lines, and not just yours, become obnoxious. Some posters will get on a thread and absolutely post nothing about the issue, but just post their tag line.

Now that we know that the Iowa Caucus has been rigged, each of us must ask ourselves what can we do about it. Most of us posting on this forum have declared that this nation is about to be finished, that Ron Paul is our last hope. Shouldn't we be concerned to the bottom of our souls and try to find a solution? Wasting our time posting tag lines and posting any you tube video showing car crashes, motorcycle high speed runs, is simply idiotic.
