I saw this a a few days ago and it's not bad if you like gigantic robots pounding each other in scrap.

I saw it a while ago in spite of feelings that it had to be a hokey Rockem Sockem robots made into a movie. But by the end I was impressed that it was a decent production and I'd go back to see #2.

The did a good job with the action and also the father/son/girlfriend stuff.

When seconds count, the police are minutes away.

Yes, the movie never got boring. The relationships were well done and the climax was well handled. Overall a well made, entertaining flick.
