New Paul S.C. ad hits Santorum on 'betrayal'

Ron Paul's campaign is out with this new ad in South Carolina, which hits Rick Santorum on his "record of betrayal."
"One serial hypocrite exposed," the ad says, showing clips of Newt Gingrich. "Now another has emerged: Rick Santorum, a corporate lobbyist and Washington politician. A record of betrayal."
This is the first time Paul has hit Santorum on TV so far, and looks a great deal like the anti-Gingrich ads the Paul camp ran in Iowa. Those ads helped bring Gingrich's numbers down before the caucuses, and brutal ads from a campaign that has money to spend could have a similar effect on Santorum.
The Paul campaign is spending $250,000 on the ad buy, a source tells us, and the ad will run in South Carolina starting Monday.
Lord, when you see that beak of his, you just want to bend it. Just a mite. Sanitorium reminds me of all the administration suck up high school class president candidates I've ever run across.
We have to help him win this one. There are no other options.
It makes me wish I had more money. I haven't had much work lately.
But I will do what I can do to help Ron Paul. I don't care how bleak things are like the other night when it was obvious that there was vote fraud, I will continue to help until the end of his campaign. Even if he doesn't win, our support will help get his message out and campaign ads are an excellent way.
What's sad is, with all the rich spoiled brats in Hollywood and sports, there aren't several willing to protect the future of their country for the progeny by supporting the only viable chance we have with a huge cash infussion.
If you want another big-government politician who supports the status quo to run our country, you should vote for my uncle, Rick Santorum. America is based on a strong belief in individual liberty. My uncles interventionist policies, both domestic and foreign, stem from his irrational fear of freedom not working.
It is not the governments job to dictate to individuals how they must live. The Constitution was designed to protect individual liberty. My Uncle Rick cannot fathom a society in which people cooperate and work with each other freely. When Republicans were spending so much money under President Bush, my uncle was right there along with them as a senator. The reason we have so much debt is not only because of Democrats, but also because of big-spending Republicans like my Uncle Rick.
It is because of this inability of status quo politicians to recognize the importance of our individual liberties that I have been drawn to Ron Paul. Unlike my uncle, he does not believe that the American people are incapable of forming decisions. He believes that an individual is more powerful than any group (a notion our founding fathers also believed in).
Another important reason I support Ron Paul is his position on foreign policy. He is the only candidate willing to bring our troops home, not only from the Middle East, but from around the world.
Ron Paul seems to be the only candidate trying to win the election for a reason other than simply winning the election.
This year, Ill vote for an honest change in our government. Ill vote for real hope. Ill vote for a real leader. This year, I will vote for Ron Paul.
John Garver is a 19-year-old student at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. John is a strong supporter of Ron Paul despite his love for family member Rick Santorum.
