Actually I must respectfully disagree. I believe that Huntsman is going to be this election cycle's McCain. Yes, he is a useful idiot, but he is an insider idiot. Romney is not an insider so I suspect he'll be torpedoed here shortly, of course RP scares the Crumpets out of them, and so that leaves insider Huntsman. Interesting perception. I am not sure yet if Huntsman has the following that will put him on the same level as McCain. I do agree however that the Elite needs someone to watch Romney's back. When do you think that Huntsman will get whacked?

Ron Paul is who the whole GOP nominating process is revolving around this year: anybody but Ron Paul. The rest are a known quantity, any of them will suffice at the end of the day. If Ron Paul weren't running these would be the most boring GOP primaries in the history of the Republic.
Huntsman is the newest useful idiot. He won't last long.

McCain didn't have McCains following - he was manufactured. Not whacked - I think he'll be handed the nomination unless Romney sucks hard enough to make the elites happy. Although Romney is beginning to whore pretty hard. However, I still think Huntsman may be handed it anyway. Time will tell - this is just part extrapolation and part "WAG". Interesting perception.
