Showing signs that he is in the GOP presidential race for the long haul, Rep. Ron Paul expressed further concern over Mitt Romney’s record on Wednesday morning. Asked by Morning Joe co-host Mika Brezinzski if he thought Romney was a “big-government conservative,” Paul agreed with that label. “I would think so,” he said. “If you go by his record, he certainly couldn’t be Governor of Massachusetts and really be a strict conservative. And I think that’s been rehashed quite a few times on the positions he’s held as governor and the positions he holds now.” He added: “The last thing we need is anybody who is sympathetic maybe for TARP fund bailouts and single mandates. I think we’ll get demolished in a general election if we’re tainted with that. Because once again, like Joe says, there’s a large base in the Republican party who are saying we’ve been stung too many times with people who aren’t convincing enough good conservatives.” Poster Comment: See video at source

I'll say it again: Mitt Romney is in love with his money and won't abide seeing his fortune tied up in a blind trust for 4 years while acting as POTUS. He's running in order to LOSE, just like John McCain did in 2008. McCain went back to his Senate country-club lifestyle laughing all the way to his wife's bank and Mitt will go back to ruining corporations for profit under the guise of "saving them". Ron Paul is the ONLY serious contender and he'll dismantle FedGov, Mitt Romney is just a spoiler who doesn't want to see One Thing Change in D.C.

Interesting take. If Romney actually won it would make his life a living hell. At least the schadenfreude factor would be a silver lining in an otherwise continuing dark cloud.
Your vote is steering the country
Democrats don't mind war as long as they can have big government. Republicans don't mind big government as long as they can have war.
If you believe in small government, then you shouldn't be in the White House.

Now that his first marketing campaign, "the job creator", has fallen flat he is trying to spin out a new one on illegal immigration. Romney-Gekko 2012!
