I was reading Phant2000's comment about what RP's agenda is, and it hit me all of a sudden why he flies first class all the time: Ron Paul has has both of his knees replaced with artificial knees. I am quite sure that in his situation, it would be agonizingly painful to fly stuffed into coach class with two artificial knees. Heck, my knees hurt when I fly coach and both of mine are real. What do you guys think? Plausible?

very plausible. i didn't know that about his knees. i also think gdt is correct about the flexibility of scheduling.
Flying ain't what it used to be. I'm just old enough to have experienced the Golden Age of air travel at it's end, when folks dressed up and passengers were as white as the clouds they flew over:
