Got this in email from a fellow bird lover and couldn't resist posting it.
Actually, I did. And, get this: My barber and friend for many years once told me that his favorite song from his youth is Bluebird Of Happiness by Jan Peerce.
"Bluebird of Happiness" is a song composed in 1934 by Sandor Harmati, with words by Edward Heyman and additional lyrics by Harry Parr-Davies.
Harmati wrote the song for his friend, the tenor Jan Peerce, the leading singer at Radio City Music Hall. Peerce recorded it twice: in 1936, under the name Paul Robinson, with the Radio City Music Hall Orchestra conducted by Ernö Rapée[1]; and on 7 June 1945, under his own name, with the RCA Victor Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sylvan Levin.

Ever heard the song, I Heard the Bluebird Sing? It is an old song but one I like very much. A brother and sister duo (Maxine and Jim Ed Brown sang it).
