Today the Emergency Committee for Israel released an ad in which Director Gary Bauer explains why conservatives should reject Rep. Ron Paul’s dangerous foreign policy views.
The ad is slated to air next week in major South Carolina media markets on both television and talk radio, but is being released online today and can be viewed below.
Update, Monday, January 9th:
Last week, ECI recorded and released a statement by our director, Gary Bauer, on conservatism and foreign policy. Since then, Gary has decided to endorse a candidate in the Republican primary. In light of this, we’ve decided not to go ahead and buy airtime for this advertisement in South Carolina.
Gary Bauer is a traitor to this country, and an agent of a nation which spies on us and steals secrets from us. An agent of a nation who has attacked a US warship, killed US sailors, and gotten away with it.
Last but not least, he is an agent of a nation who was most CERTAINLY involved in the 9/11 attacks due to physical and documented evidence proving their knowledge and involvement.
A dispicable man, with a dispicable history, and a most dispicable message.
Gary Bauer campaigns as a hard-right moralist, and has credentials to back it up from his years working in Reagan's White House. He's also one of the few candidates in either party from a humble background, having grown up as a janitor's son in Kentucky, where he led a crusade to clean up vice.
Unfortunately for him, his record isn't quite as squeaky clean as his speeches. And if you wanted to be mean, you could say he is barely 5 foot tall and looks like a cross between a gay Grinch and Mr. Bean, but that wouldn't be fair.

Avoided the Vietnam War
I don't see why Christians should censor themselves out of any forum in which our perspectives can be heard.
