So far, at 8:30 pm, it looks like Romney is second (and not very close) and Paul is in fourth place, behind Santorum.

well, now, isn't that interesting. my parents are S Carolinians who voted for Ron Paul today. at their precinct, upon arrival, they were greeted by a young couple who handed them Paul literature. there were no supporters for any other candidate except for Ron Paul. the day before there had been a rally for Dr. Paul and this couple reported that there had been 1100+ in attendance.

Of course.....although I should add that in my state they are not pulled out for Caucus or Primary voting.

Figures. I would be willing to bet that an honest vote count would have RP no worse than second. Having lived in SC I cannot see the people there being dumb enough to vote for Gingrich. However, the Crims in charge are desperate to deprive RP of any wins or credibility. However, the truth is getting out and while they can still steal the elections they cannot manufacture real trust or credibility.
