Headline says scores of French troops killed which would mean at least 40. But in further copy a dozen are reported killed and wounded. This in the face of Sarkozy having suspended French action after a bunch of French trainers were wiped out by an Afghan trainee. In other action Monday five tanks blown up along with four vehicles and a half dozen US troops killed.
