yes, that's a major concern for me.
I dont like seeing people devastated, deflated, disappointed, hopeless. So I am just warning people not to trust some damn disingenuous politician to "save us" when he dont even protest mass criminal vote fraud. everyone, save yourselves. the truth hurts.

Actually I see it as an astute move. RP does not expect to win in the current environment. If he did the Israelis/CIA would kill him. No, what I think he is doing, but he would never say this, is helping to build momentum toward overthrowing the current corrupt regime. Of course he can't say that because he would be pilloried and smeared by the controlled whores of the major media, but his very existence and the growing obviousness of the rampant fraud and control of the presstitutes is having an effect. It is awakening one hell of a lot of people to the realities - that is one of the reasons the Israelis/Zionazis hate him so much - he's not giving them anything to attack him with and all they can do is to repeat the same spin lines over and over and over and over again. However, that is wearing thin and more people are seeing the spin as spin and that it is dishonest. No, RP running is not an end it is a process. I'm already pointing out to a few acquaintances and family that Newt/Mitt/Rick are sleazy and have more baggage than will fit in a railroad car and oh, by the way, please notice that Ron Paul has NO personal baggage or ethical handicaps like the other RINO's appear to have.

I lost enchantment with Paul for a few reasons, yours being one of them. Another is his personal investments in gold holdings, something on the order of 1 to $1.5 million in mines and the like while he's pushing a public policy of a gold currency of some kind. One would think his enemies would have picked up on this and run with it already. When Paul was on Jay Leno a few weeks ago, he said he wanted to be like Grover Cleveland as president. I was startled by his admission, as Grover was the prez that sold the US Treasury to the Rothschilds and the Morgans in 1895. If Dr. Paul doesn't know this, he isn't as informed about the history of banking as he claims. If he does know it, then eff him anyway. Either way, I smell a rat. I can't see how he doesn't know it. Reading Murray Rothbard would have clued him in. It's my humble opinion that Paul was sending a message to the goldbugs. They know their history. His message being "Those crazy, heady days of 1895 when gold was king! I'll bring those days back for you." I'm done with the hucksters. All of them. He may gain the vote, but they dont count them, & he says nothing about it.

But if he's not running to win, (i.e., getting enough votes, to win- this includes demanding that all the votes of his loyal supporters are COUNTED) then what the hell is the point.

I see Ron Paul's dedication and strategy through his, The Good Doc's, long term vision but rapid action. I was disappointed last go with the final outcome. Simply because I wasn't sure how much tread Ron had left. But he and Carol have God's strength and I appreciate his efforts. More than probably anyone in my life. He's my favorite American and I doubt that will change. Ever.

Neither Santorum nor Gingrich can win the Nomination for one simple reason. Neither of them can collect enough delegates to win the Nomination. Neither man can be the nominee because neither one was able to get on enough states' ballots to make a difference. (564 delegates that Newt can't win ), Same with Santorum (over 700 delegates he can't win ). And the media as well as the GOP is praying to god that the American people continue to remain ignorant of this fact for as long as possible while they try to come up with a strategy that will bury Ron Paul before Romney is forced to face him on stage alone and the commentators are no longer able to marginalize Paul by giving all the questions to everyone but him. Ron Paul and Mitt Romney are the only two candidates that made it on the ballot in every state. Romney will not beat Obama, he's too similar except he will raise taxes on anyone making 40k a year or less in favor of giving himself lower taxes. Independents are going to run to Obama if Romney is the alternative. It is a two man race between Ron Paul and Romney for the nomination. It is also a two man race between Ron Paul and Obama for the White House. It's time Conservatives and people with any functioning brain cells in their heads started backing the only real candidate that will beat Obama and save America. And whether you like it or not, that candidate is, by default, Ron Paul. The facts can't be twisted to point in any other direction. The Delegates decide who gets the nomination and you can't get delegates if you aren't on the ballots. It doesn't matter how much money gets pumped into your campaign by special interest groups. The facts are the facts. Fact : Gingrich and Santorum cannot win the nomination no matter how much they get in " popular " votes. Fact : Romney will fail epically against Obama in a general election. Fact : Ron Paul will decimate Obama on his Foreign Policy stance alone. Add in his Economic and Defense policies ( All 3 of which were policies Obama ran on in 2008 and abandoned once he got in the White House so no one would be stupid enough to believe he's going to follow them in his second term ) and you have an un-beatable candidate in the general election who the bulk of the American people will vote for when they finally get a chance to see the man unfiltered and unbiased by the media. America is broke and the average American is tired of hearing about another war on the horizon and seeing more dead soldiers coming home in coffins for no reason...all the while the freedoms they are dying to " protect " are being stripped away from us by our own government...one by one. Obama has ‘0’ chance of beating Paul and Washington knows it. The GOP knows it. The corporations that own Washington know it too so they instruct the media outlets they own to hide it from you. But now you know. Gingrich and Santorum are mathematically incapable of winning the Nomination and Romney can't beat Obama in the general election. Ron Paul is the only choice we have. It's just nice that, for once, he's the RIGHT choice and not just the " lesser of two evils ".

While I generally agree with your analysis there is another fly in the ointment. Agreed that Rick Scrotum and Newt Grinch are certified losers and incapable of winning. Agreed that McRomney is a worthless POS who could not defeat Phyllis Diller. (Personally I'd take Phyllis over McRomney any day - she's a lot smarter than he is.) However, there now exists the possibility of a brokered convention and the name beginning to float in the background is Jeb Bush. So, what it looks like we might be getting set up for is a "Draft Jeb" Astroturf campaign where a deadlocked convention "suddenly" sees good ol' Jeb as the "Knight in Shining Armor" to defeat ALL HANDS BRACE FOR HEAVY SPIN! the Wicked Witch Oh'bummer.

I wish I owned millions in gold stocks, I've got a little physical gold but that won't stop me from voting for Ron Paul. There's been dozens of articles over the past few years here at freedom4um telling us to get into gold like Ron Paul has. I see no conflict of interest. If Ron Paul had a sizeable gun collection as well as stock in publicly traded gun mfgs. and he told you to buy as many guns as you wanted would you have a problem with that??

He has never been shy about telling people that and that the paper money we have pretty much been forced to use is as much counterfeit as it would be if a private citizen printed it up. Grover Cleveland's terms were 1885-1889 and 1893-1897. Your article also cites acts of Congress of July 14,1870, January 20, 1871, and January 14, 1875, long before either of Cleveland's inconsecutive terms. What should the Cleveland administration have done? Taken us off the Gold Standard then? I'm not a Goldbug and the Constitution does not dictate that the U.S. government be in the precious metals mining business to meet the requirement that the States (not the Federal government but the States) use nothing but gold and silver for their debt purposes. At the time the Constitution was ratified, I could be wrong but don't think that there was even a gold or silver mine here. That tells us something but issuing bonds to buy gold from others like the Rothschilds is, imo, tantamount to issuing a Bill of Credit and that's Unconstitutional for the Federal Government, as well as for the States. This is where my thread researching the '60s era removal of silver from our coins was about to go into the topic of Trade Dollars, iirc. I intend to do more work on that subject eventually but I think you're being a bit harsh on Grover Cleveland, bluegrass, under the circumstances. That made the goldbugs/money powers happy, but they're never happy enough. They spent the next 20 years trying to destabilize the US Treasury. We all know who controlled the bond market....the same crowd that controlled it for most of the 20th century. Ron Paul knows his history. His untterance of Grover Cleveland on Leno was a message to those goldbugs that know their history. The Money Powers are divided into two factions: The Debtmongers and their helpers (Bernanke is a helper) and the Goldbug/Hard Assets crowd. The Debtmongers have been running the show since the Depression. Their game is up and the Goldbugs are coming back into their own. I hope Ron Paul becomes president. It would be a better world in the long run. But he's not above critique, either. No politician ever should be.

It's only because they cannot label him and thus trigger Pavlovian responses in well trained American television audiences that Paul has made it this far. You already know the truth and you wouldn't be dissuaded by a massive smear campaign to knock Paul out of the race. But you are not the target of the campaign. It's millions of Americans who know something is wrong but still believe that bad things that happen to our economy are cosmic coincidences, and who still do not know that their "parents" in Wash, DC are a bunch of sold out, chicken hearted scumbags who can be blackmailed with photos of them with some dual citizen Mata Hari like Chandra Levy and America's Sweetheart, Monica Lewinsky giving them a Chinese basket job.
