you can read this article here at the CFR site.

the author, Michael Levi, is the David M. Rubenstein Senior Fellow for Energy and the Environment at the CFR, and his artticle is a mixture of disinformation, bad metaphors, and haywire logic.

his argument, although it's kinda hard to pin down, seems to be: party on, dudes, and dont worry about oil.

my comments, which are languishing, and most likey will die, in "awaiting moderation" limbo, go like this...

"oh, man…

does this mean that the PNAC/AEI/exxon people didnt have to do 9/11 in response to peak oil?

3000 american lives, countless lives elsewhere… wasted, because nobody saw shale oil coming.

what a tragedy."

and...

"here’s a map PNAC’s efforts in response to their misperceptions of peak oil.

this article is being discussed at theoildrum, despite attempts to derail it to a discussion of newt's moonbase scheme.

I'll say this. You are one persistent leg humper.

You also add to the forum. You're a great teaching aid, to my fellow NSA CIA FBI students. Keep up the good work. Now we know that you have to get up pretty early in the morning to get anything past you.

why would the CFR want to confuse the peak oil issue?

maybe because they figured out, within 30 seconds of that second plane hitting the towers, that this was the "new jpearl harbor" that their buddies in PNAC wanted?

maybe it took them another 30 seconds to realize that PNAC staged 9/11.

maybe it took them another 30 seconds figure out peak oil, and peak oil's role as motive for the 9/11...

maybe it took them another nano-second and a half to figure out peak oil must be denied at all costs, lest people start connecting the dots.

judging from the response to my posts at the CFR and energybulletin, it looks like people are catching on, despite the best efforts of the peak oil denial apparatus...

the perps of 9/11 must have realized that people would connect the dots eventually...

...but the impending police tate will fix that problem, wont it? ...which is why the police state was waiting in the wings prior to 9/11.

People that try and "connect the dots" end up drawing some very strange pictures.

I'd say that they did it only for maintaining stability. Panicky people are stupid people, even more stupid than usual. Tell them that we're running out of oil and you will have panic.

On 9/11 I stopped in a small town in OK to fuel up, because no way would I make it to my next fuel stop. In that small town, Hooker OK with a population of 1900, cars were backed up about a mile, waiting. Inside, it was fucking chaos. If people are that screwed up in the head on that day, what are they going to do when it's the real deal?

In that small town, Hooker OK with a population of 1900, cars were backed up about a mile, waiting.

after watching my neighbor's tv for a while, i got on my bike to do "man-in-the- street" interviews downtown.

i decided to practice on a kid, maybe eight or ten years old, pushing his bike along the sidewalk... my first interview...

i asked him, "what happened?"

he says, "it's a jew thing." ...and hopped on his bike and rode off before i could ask him anything else.

so you have to wonder how many people know what's going on, have known from the beginning, and are laying low.

it wasnt that hard to figure out, seeing as how israel was getting the shit kicked out of it by the durban human rights conference.

Two delegations, the United States and Israel, withdrew from the conference over objections to a draft document equating Zionism with racism. The final Declaration and Programme of Action did not contain the text that the U.S. and Israel had objected to, that text having been voted out by delegates in the days after the U.S. and Israel withdrew.

many of the potential political aftereffects of the conference were annulled by the September 11, 2001 attacks. The attacks took place just three days after the conference ended, entirely eclipsing it in the news, and significantly affecting international relations and politics.

Smart kid!

I had a lot of time to think about this, regarding who knows and who "doesn't give a damn lets kill us some ayrabs!". Driving 11 hours a day with crap on the radio does give one time for reflection.

I came to the conclusion that I/we don't know. You can ask but there is no guarantee that they will tell you what they really think.

I've been at the same table with both types. I'll talk to one and say something about "9/11 bullshit" to get things started. One agreed, 2 look at me like I'm one of Ickes reptilians.

On one hand we have the MSM bread and circuses, which gives the illusion that people are sheep, but on the other hand a lot of people know that the MSM is not telling us the truth. Watching the MSM can make one hopeless. But that is the illusion that they perpetrate, intentionally. And who controls the MSM? Who has the most to lose once the illusion is broken? The jews.

in the ten years since 9/11, we havent bothered anyone but countries with oil, or countries that are on strategic pipeline routes.

Sure, it IS about oil and natural gas, but not for the reasons you claim. It is about TOTAL CONTROL of the world's energy.

Current wells ARE still viable and more than likely being replensished via underground networks of oil, yet, countries such as Saudi Arabia have ramped down their production DELIBERATELY in order to drive up prices.

So the fact remains, the global elite wish to control EVERY drop of oil on this planet, as he who controls the world's energy, controls the world itself.

They already control the money supply and banking system. That was step 1.

Then energy.

The major media.

Medicine.

And via GMOs they are trying to corner and control the food supply.

Gosh those are all control points.

Interesting pattern that makes.

But of course it is all pure coincidence that all of those sectors are controlled by the same small cabal via interlocking directorates.

Why if you noticed those facts you'd be one a' them konspurcy theerists.

As well I would note that not oil but level of education and modernization, with the exception of Pipelinestan, AND NOT HAVING A ROTHSCHILD CONTROLLED CENTRAL BANK are the real common threads between Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Iran.

This is not about oil per se but about CONTROL.

Israel is almost a Red Herring as Israel is a Rothschild fiefdom. The real force behind all of these actions lie in the Banking District of The City of London and the House of Rotchild.

Oh, and oil production is NOT peaking. That is a disinformation line to divert attention from the fact that oil production is kept intentionally low in order to keep prices up and maintain control.

Agreed. But what are you going to do about it? Because, I dont know what to do about it.

Some people can live off grid now, but they are the exception. The majority won't put up with having to do that, until it's too late.

People are waking up, but is it enough, or is it too little too late. Hell if I know.

What are the PTB going to do when the wells dry up and it's too expensive, or outright impossible, to get more oil? The "elites" are just as shortsighted as the sheep are. I'm glad for that.

But personally I think the elites will lose control long before that happens. THey're vicious but not too bright. The only question is, how many sheep will die in the process. And, how many of us will die. I think that the grids will be local, and not national. I dont know what the city folk will do.

From what I understand, vast untapped sources of oil are beneath the crust, which are still beyond our current technology to access. Perhaps in the future a safe and effective means of drilling down into the upper mantle will be possible, but the technology isn't there yet.

Russia has had some success locating geological areas where there are fissures in the crust allowing oil to pool from deep underground, and have recovered significant amounts from those expeditions.

But to reach the source of the oil, one would have to penetrate much deeper into the earth than has ever been achieved.

And BTW, just because oil might be abiotic in nature doesn't mean it's readily accessible from the crust. Where the crust is thin is where you'll find oil, such as in the Gulf of Mexico.

it's just too bad that the CFR happens to be one othe institutions that is planning the new world order, and they are doing this by explaining how their "nuclear primacy" will work...

first, we install defensive missiles at sites surrounding russia and china, then we do massive nuke first strikes on russia and china, and if any russian or chinese retaliatory missiles survive, they will likely be so few in number that our defensive misslile can pick off the survivors.

another good deal.

But to reach the source of the oil, one would have to penetrate much deeper into the earth than has ever been achieved.

One article I read on the BP oilpocalypse suggested that they might have tapped into one of the deeper layers with the Macondo rig - and that one of the reasons it blew out was that the pressure at that depth was simply too much for their equipment.

I know the Russians have drilled as deep as about 40,000 feet on dry land before they struck oil, but they did eventually strike oil.

We don't know enough yet on the true oil formation process to reliably predict where it will be accessible. However, the Russians appear to be further along than anyone else.

I think I remember reading where there was more than one such genetic "bottleneck".

But it can't happen today, right? We have technology. We're just more special than they were back then.

I can't decide whether to be an optimist or a pessimist.

One thing that's interesting about that OK town. MOst people think that rural people have their acts together, they're the salt of the earth, no BS kinds of people. I didn't see that. I saw wild eyed nutcases. I dont know if others saw similar things or not.

One article I read on the BP oilpocalypse suggested that they might have tapped into one of the deeper layers with the Macondo rig - and that one of the reasons it blew out was that the pressure at that depth was simply too much for their equipment.

That's what I remember, enormous pressure - 40,000 PSI?

That rings a bell, but I haven't looked at it for a while. The other interesting thing about the oil coming out was that it was more of a brown which I am told indicates "young", as in recently created - less than 100,000 years, oil. I am pretty sure at this point that the abiotic theory of oil creation is most likely the answer, but we do not know enough about it yet to detail the process with any specificity.

More bullshit from the resident psychopath. You just can't stop lying. But that's what psychopaths do.
