We are people whose ancestors came over on the Mayflower and whose ancestors met those people when they arrived. We are people of virtually every possible stripe and persuasion who all have one single thing in common — we love this country and want to see the promise of what America was intended to be fulfilled, so that we can leave our children the American we grew up believing in — free and prosperous nation with justice and opportunity for all where any person who wants it and is willing to put in the effort has a reasonable chance of being whatever he or she wants to be and can make a better life for their children than they had. We want an America which is the land of liberty and where the idea of the pursuit of happiness means something. “A place where courage and gumption and effort and creativity count for something — where the deck is not pre-stacked so that those on top can not lose no matter what they do and those on the bottom have little hope of winning no matter how hard they try. And where our leaders are people we can be proud of and who represent the best of what America is and not America at its basest and most venal. As for myself, I am proud to be associated with all of these types of Ron Paul supporters — even the wackiest among us. I happily welcome all the tin foil hat wearers and the hippies as well as the veterans and the old right conservatives and even the lefty liberals. When I start hearing stuff about needing to keep the movement “pure” then I know I’m talking to somebody who doesn’t understand the movement at all.”

Thanks for this great post. I know many say we shouldn't vote, which only encourages "them". But, the reality is we are going to have government whether we like it or not. Even if Dr. Paul is a masonic entity, he definitely is our only hope for some meaningful adjustment in this wicked country's method. The world is headed towards WW3, and that's just not ok with me and many others, who get no air-time on the military-industrial media's airwaves.
The Spirit of '76 WILL NOT die. That is why they hate us. I actually enjoy being hated, a sign of being correct!
On one level I find it amusing, but they are dangerous - like a Rattler. A Rattler doesn't have any brain to speak of, but it can kill you nonetheless.
They are way dangerous, can look your number up, and sabotage your every effort. At this point however, since I don't have kids who could be targeted, it's well worth the effort to start screaming!
When you are over the target is when you get the most flack.

This humble picture of Ron Paul needs posted on every tree, every telephone pole, every bulletin board you can find, and shown far and wide. His love of his country is unmatched by anyone since the Founding Fathers. This picture sent chills down to my very core and brought tears of real hope in my heart. The picture and his words are astounding. I only hope and pray we are worthy of this great statesman and his tireless effort to save this once great nation.

Thanks! Something else I do every day. I sit at my computer and randomly call at least 5 telephone numbers. using local numbers but not knowing who I call. I very politely mention Ron Paul and try and educate the people about our problems and how Ron Paul is trying to get elected so he can work on those problems. I don't always get thru to them, but at least, and hopefully they will take a look at Ron. If every Ron Paul supporter did the same we might get enough support to see a miracle happen. I also make it a point to engage anybody in a store, gas station, etc. Since the MSM is marginalizing Ron, we can get the word out to millions in a few short weeks. Everyone is a potential vote for Ron!

You're welcome and thank you for your comment. I don't know that Ron is a mason (maybe he is, maybe he isn't). But most of the founders were also masons. What I care about when I cast a vote for president is if I am voting, not for the lesser of two evils but for a positive good, one who will take the oath to the Constitution seriously. Ron Paul has an unmatched record in that regard so far as I know. I proudly voted for him in 1988 when he ran as a Libertarian even knowing that he would not be elected. If I live until the next go round and vote at all it will be for Ron.

It shouldn't bother us too much to be hated by the ignorant and evil-intentioned.* In fact we should rejoice when we are despised by such people. *Not saying that all ignorant people (and we are all ignorant, just about different things) have evil intentions. Agreed. Of course they hate everyone in their psychotic world - including themselves. If they weren't so blinded by hate they would realize that recognizing other people's right to live their own lives unmolested by anyone so long as they are not harming others is a good thing and doesn't hurt them in any way.

True, but they are not sane, and that is the key to understanding them. They are so twisted inside that they are a danger to themselves and others. There is little chance of reasoning with crazy people. There are sane non-violent solutions to all of our world's problems, but in their insanity they discard them and revile them. Years ago, when we were young and foolish, we would put the opposition bumper stickers right on the rear deck lid, right on the paint. People were mad as hell about it. We did it to the big expensive autos and I'm sure it cost the opposing candidate some votes. Now since the opposition to Ron Paul is playing hijinks with the primary vote counts, here is something the Ron Paul supporters can do tomorrow which is Super Bowl Sunday. Call as many people as we can tomorrow asking them to support Romney, Newt orSantorum. It would be better to ask them to support Romney. Make the calls during the entire Super Bowl game and you will get a lot of people pissed off at Romney for interrupting their Super Bowl and Party.Every Ron Paul supporter should do this enmasse. This is a great opportunity to help Ron!
