I hear ya'.....if there are any libertarian billionaires out there, they'd double their $ if they launched a Faux like TV network. I'd bet the ratings would be thru the roof.
We have Press TV but if you want a real hard hitting truthfull network in AmeriKa you would have to get past the FCC and I don't think they would license such an adventure. Congratulations, you've identified the problem. Contact Dakmar for your prize cake (make sure you specify the yummy whipped icing). It's been done, then sabotaged. Do you remember National Empowerment Television (NET)? NET was the brainchild of Paul Weyrich and the Free Congress Foundation, and produced such great shows as Modern Warfare and Next Revolution, both hosted by Bill Lind.. Weyrich sold control of the network to a group of investors who said they were going to expand it, when in fact they made sure it went off the air. Lind's shows were the first to get the boot from the new owners. NET is the network that was only on dish network satellite, it was great. I really have missed them over the years.

You are correct More correct. I doubt if that was the reason. More than likely it was due to low ratings. Come on JT, look around you my friend. Look at the sort of people "conservatives" are supporting for president all over the country. Look at the comments at the bottom of any Fox News Internet article and read what "conservatives" are saying. Look at all of the "conservative" political forums. To paraphrase that old Buick commercial, this ain't your fathers conservative movement. The conservative movement in the United States has moved so far to the left that what you, I, and the good Judge consider to be self-evident and common sense is considered offensive, radical, and kooky to Fox News viewers. It looks like I am wrong. According to this blog from antiwar.com: Ratings were not an issue, since the show was one of the top-rated shows on Fox Business Channel. Since no reason was given, one can only assume it was the consistent antiwar, pro-freedom, and anti-establishment views. Fox’s press release stated: Currently one of the leading judicial analysts on television, Judge Napolitano will continue his role on both FOX Business and FOX News, providing key legal insights surrounding the growing intersection between Washington and Wall Street. Freedom Watch will be replaced by re-airings of shows run earlier in the day. Anti-War nails it. By definition the Judge is a domestic terrorist, as are we. The Power knows his views, if allowed to be aired, have all the potential to organize and educate the sheeple. What they're doing to him isn't much different than what they did to Fr. Coughlin and the American First movement in the 40s and early 50s.

I don't get Fox Business Channel in my package but I do support the Judge's show all the way. Maybe if I can contact that number christine mentioned, perhaps, there is a time slot for him to replace Glenn Beck. I refuse to watch Glenn Beck.
Hey purplerose. Contacting the number christine posted would be a huge help. As to Glenn beck, Faux dumped him and he now broadcasts independently on the 'net. I think his station is called GBTV. It's a paid deal and no doubt a neocon delight.

Dear Friends-- Many of you are not happy with the cancellation of FreedomWatch, and you have sent emails to my Fox colleagues expressing that unhappiness. In television, shows are cancelled all the time. Two of my former shows have been cancelled, and after each cancellation, Fox has rewarded me with more and better work. This cancellation--along with others that accompanied it--was the result of a business judgment here, and is completely unrelated to the FreedomWatch message. It would make a world of a difference for all of us, if you would KINDLY STOP SENDING EMAILS TO FOX. I am well. Your values are strong. I will continue to articulate those values here at Fox. But the emails many of you are sending are unfairly interfering with my work and that of my colleagues here. The emails even violate our values because they interfere with the use of private property. I have accepted the cancellation decision with good cheer and a sense of gearing up for the future. You should as well. As a favor to me, and as I have asked this past weekend, PLEASE STOP SENDING EMAILS TO MY COLLEAGUES AT FOX ABOUT THE CANCELLATION OF FreedomWatch; and please stop NOW. As many of you no doubt have heard, FreedomWatch will end next week. The good folks who own these studios and these cameras have other uses for them. We have had a marvelous ride together, and I know from the thousands of emails that have come our way, that you have been faithful to the message of freedom and to your Night Watchman as its temporary messenger. Your Night Watchman is not going anywhere. I will be all over the Fox News Channel, just as I was before FreedomWatch, and I might even have some surprises in store for you; not the least of which will be a grand finale sometime next week. The angels and the saints who close doors also open them.
