Rosenberg, who was director of policy at Israel Policy Forum, made the suggestion in an article about a military attack against Iran’s nuclear facilities. The author said the main reason behind his prediction is that "this is an election year and no one will say no to [Israeli Prime Minister] Benjamin Netanyahu in an election year." He was referring to the 2012 presidential election in the United States that will be held in November. Rosenberg also pointed out to an upcoming meeting of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). "War enthusiasm will rise to a fever pitch by March, when AIPAC holds its annual policy conference," he wrote. AIPAC, which has an influential and undeniable role in US policies, advocates pro-Israel policies to the Congress and Executive Branch of the United States. The group urges all members of Congress to support Israel through foreign aid. The US and Israel have repeatedly threatened Tehran with the "option" of a military strike, based on their allegation that Iran's nuclear program may include a covert military aspect, a claim strongly rejected by Tehran. These whining cowards need to shut the hell up. They don't need our permission to do a damned thing. They just want us to take the heat when images of disembodied limbs and dead kids and rubble are beamed from Iran the day after. These bastards want US to take the heat.
It is improbable that Israel would attack Iran because of the enormity and complexity of such an undertaking: www.nytimes.com/2012/02/2...aid-seen-as-complex-task- for-israeli-military.html?_r=1 And it is unlikely that Obama would attack Iran - unless he got the backing of several other Muslim countries for such a project - because Obama definitely does not want to see gasoline jumping to $7 a gallon.
