I just received news that Jim was taken to the hospital several days ago for a bleeding ulcer and is not doing well. They have him on a respirator and he's not lucid. That's all I know tonight.

Oh my! I don't know why the photo is oversized! I visited Jim today for the first time since he was transferred from Seton to TexasNeuroRehab. He is doing well, though still weak, but enjoying the physical therapy and strength training he's receiving twice a day. He's lost a lot of weight and needs to be fattened up. He is not enjoying the facility's food, but he's no longer on a restricted diet, so I can begin taking him some healthful smoothies. He's a bit bored and missing having access to a computer. I wish Mrs. L would get him a little laptop. I asked if there is a projected date for discharge and he answered that he didn't know. Ab, I took him your card which he enjoyed very much and asked me to thank you.
great news! getting a laptop is a good idea. maybe let him borrow one for a few days?

Thank you Christine! Loddy needs smoothies made with MLO.....he will strengthen and gain weight in no time. When my dad was released from the hospital he was little over 100 pounds and the doctors told us at his age he wouldn't put any weight on. I said BS and sent up the MLO. We put 35 pounds back on him. : ) All Star Health has the best price, quick shipping too, and it comes in Chocolate, Vanilla or Strawberry. I think the Vanilla is the best. He's lost a lot of weight and needs to be fattened up. He is not enjoying the facility's food, but he's no longer on a restricted diet, so I can begin taking him some healthful smoothies.

Those smiles say a lot. Of course I'd smile too. Joking aside I can see that he has lost a lot of weight as it shows from the way he's holding his arm. I hope Ab's MLO is helpful. Of course there's always good old weight training supplements too. I'd tell him to skip the steroids though. Oh, and green foods too. Although you said you were taking him healthy smoothies. Maybe I'm weird, no make that I know I'm weird and proud OF it, but I like the taste of most green food add-ins for smoothies. One that Jeff Rense has been hawking, which I have not tried, is Bioage. Jim left a voicemail today. He was moved from TexasNeuroRehab to St. David's Rehab on Friday. He's much happier with the facility as it's cleaner, nicer, has much better food, and he likes the staff better. He meets with his care team tomorrow to learn their plan for getting him home--hopefully soon!

I'd do all that I can...shit.... the rife machine doesn't heal damage... it just kills shit that causes the damage it does not fix damage already done... limitations... sigh. I remember seeing him not so long ago when his eye popped. It was not a good day for him... I wanted to be there since I already was there...and I saw his shape...timing was off though. crap shit fuck damn. Get well soon man. I wish I was there.

He sounds great...strong voice, in good spirits. Really likes St. David's Rehab which he said is like a nice hotel. His physical therapist, after today's session, said were it up to him, he would send Jim home tonight! There will be a meeting of his caretakers tomorrow, Jim thinks, and a decision will be made for a date of discharge. Yay!

If you go to tools and do a 1,000% zoom on christine's eyes in that photo, it looks just like that ultra close up director Busby Berkeley did on Ginger Rogers at the beginning of the movie "Gold Diggers of 1933" during the song "We're In the Money." I looked at Lod's eyes too. He ain't no Ginger Rogers. :P Difficult to work up any sympathy for Sir Lod after that notorious photo was posted here.
