Scroogle.org seems to be permanently down. It's been down for days. I know that they've had trouble with Google for a few weeks. Anyone know anymore? Big Brutha?

Between their troubles with Google throttling their ability to run searches and a major DDOS attack it appears to have gone away - possibly for good this time. In the message which, I believe it was Critter, found he suggested as an alternate search engine, which anonymizes, duckduckgo.com I've given it a try or two and it seems to work reasonably well. deleted

DDOS = Distributed Denial of Service
duckduckgo is working out OK for me, but I would probably go back to Scroogle if they were resurrected, just out of some illogical sense of loyalty :-o
