Starting in 2008 with the primary battle between then-Senators Clinton & Obama for the Democratic Party’s nomination, the firearm industry has experienced an unprecedented boom. Despite the lackluster economy, numbers such as the ones below when visually illustrated … show an industry which continues to experience record (and under-reported!) growth, thanks primarily to “the Obama effect”:
Ruger’s firearm sales have gone from $117 million to $232 million, an increase of 98%
Winchester’s sales of ammunition have gone from $431.7 million to $572 million, an increase of 33%
Federal excise taxes collected on the sale of new firearms and ammunition has risen 48.3%
January 2012 was the 20th straight month of increases in NICS background checks compared to the same month in the previous year

Dec. 2011 saw over 1.41 million NICS background checks run, the most ever for a single month
The few states which regularly report concealed carry permit numbers have seen increases in active permit holders ranging from 46% to 161%

No matter what Nigger Obama tries to do: I Retain My Second Amendment RIGHT. It exists outside of the Constitution and is beyond the reach of legislators and lawmen.

I'm trying to figure out this "perceived hostility to guns" by Obama. As far as I can find, he hasn't said a word about gun control since Inauguration, and I don't think he said anything during the 2008 campaign. The NRA even admits that he's "laying low" on the topic -- somehow their psychic abilities read his thoughts.

As a matter of fact, last week's newspaper reported that Obama's Dept of Agriculture made a grant to the Idaho Firearms & Accessories Manufacturers Assn to work up a study of "economic opportunities for firearms-related industries in Idaho." Does that sound like an anti-gun administration??

One thing's for sure, the more the NRA and other gun groups talk up Obama as the enemy of gun owners, the more guns get sold - and since the NRA and others are subsidized by the advertising of gun vendors, this is good for them even if it isn't honest.

Most dishonest is that lying skunk in the White House. He want to get Fed hands on guns by administrative fiat. It speaks volumes that the rhetoric and activism have significantly cooled since the Fast & Furious scandal broke. The Chief Prevaricator has been forced to lie low on this issue once folks became aware that his AG was walking guns across the border that were used to kill people, both Mexican and American.
