Limbaugh Continues Hateful Assault On Sandra Fluke, Says She Needs To Have Less Sex

By Alex Seitz-Wald on Mar 2, 2012 at 2:17 pm

On his third day of broadcasting to 15 million listeners vicious sexist attacks against a law student whom no one had heard of just weeks ago, Rush Limbaugh blamed Sandra Fluke for the controversy surrounding her attempt to testify before Congress, suggesting that none of this would have happened if she could just keep her legs closed.

Limbaugh, apparently completely unrepentant despite losing advertisers and drawing scorn from Republicans and Democrats alike, grossly misrepresented Fluke’s testimony on contraception and said Fluke should just take some self responsibility and stop having so much sex:

LIMBAUGH: This woman comes forth with this frankly hilarious claim that she’s having so much sex, and her buddies with her, that she can’t afford it. And not one person says, did you ever think about maybe backing off the amount of sex that you have? … And amazingly, when there is the slightest bit of opposition to this new welfare entitlement to be created, that all of a sudden, we hate women, we want them barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen, all of these other things. And so, that’s where we are. And so, at the end of this week, I am this person that the women of America are to fear the most.

Listen here:

While it’s difficult to believe that he doesn’t by know what Fluke actually said (her entire testimony is on video), Limbaugh and other conservatives like bloggers Erick Erickson and Michelle Malkin are fabricating the claim that Fluke wants taxpayers to pay for contraception. That is blatantly flase. Fluke’s testimony, and the entire contraception debate, is about insurance companies paying for contraception as part of their health coverage, they way they pay for any other medication, such as Viagra. Morevoer, Fluke’s testimony was not about herself, but about a friend who need contraception to fight cancer and other fellow law students.

This conservative narrative, which is pure fantasy, seems to be based on a single bogus article from CNS News, which Limbaugh repeatedly cites, with the ludicrous headline, “Sex-Crazed Co-Eds Going Broke Buying Birth Control, Student Tells Pelosi Hearing Touting Freebie Mandate.”

Meanwhile, Limbaugh apparently doesn’t understand how birth control works. His entire stance is premised on the notion that women need more birth control the more sex they have. Of course, as anyone who has taken an 8th grade sex ed class could inform him, that’s not how it works.

And responding to Georgetown’s president, who defended Fluke and called Limbuagh a misogynist, the host mysterious replied, “A misogynist is a man who hates women as much as women hate women.”

We need to take a stand now against his revolting behavior. Sign our petition and let Sandra Fluke know that you are on her side.

Somebody ought to tell the truth about the Bible. The preachers dare not, because they would be driven from their pulpits. Professors in colleges dare not, because they would lose their salaries. Politicians dare not. They would be defeated. Editors dare not. They would lose subscribers. Merchants dare not, because they might lose customers. Men of fashion dare not, fearing that they would lose caste. Even clerks dare not, because they might be discharged. And so I thought I would do it myself... Robert Ingersoll

If anyone's an expert on having less sex, it's four marriages, no kids, the wife lives in the house down the street Limbaugh. Fortunately for him, it's an easy trip to the Dominican Republic when the urge arises.

When the Left does it, Chris Matthews just cackles and sez "It's just political street-theater, wow these Republicans sure are thin-skinned!! Hahahahaha!!". When Rush Limbaugh finally flips the rhetoric back on the Left they chimp out like a bunch of sissies.

I'll say it again: Sandra Fluke is a fraud and a damn liar, somebody should lay an axe into her skull. (Political street-theater!! Hahahahaha!!)

“With the exception of Whites, the rule among the peoples of the world, whether residing in their homelands or settled in Western democracies, is ethnocentrism and moral particularism: they stick together and good means what is good for their ethnic group."
