Hot on the heels of its Panda Labs defacements, Anonymous has taken down the Vatican's own website in a protest against what it described was a "corrupt" church organisation.

"Anonymous decided today to besiege your site in response to the doctrine, to the liturgies, to the absurd and anachronistic concepts that your for-profit organisation spreads around the world," read a statement posted on an Italian anon website.

"This attack is not against the Christian religion or the faithful around the world but against the corrupt Roman Apostolic Church."

This is the second high profile attack the group has made since the announcement of the Lulzsec leader snitching on several other members of the anti-sec movement yesterday. Earlier today it was announced that Anti-Virus makers Panda Labs had been hit, with over 30 of its sub-domains being defaced with a message that decried the company's actions, as well as laughing at the irony of a security firm being hacked quite so thoroughly.

Apparently Panda Labs was heavily involved with monitoring IRC chat rooms and Anonymous hang outs in order to help inform the FBI and other government organisations on potential future targets of the hacktivist movement.

On top of revenge actions, much in the way of supportive messages and thoughts have been flooding in for those few hackers that were arrested in recent days, with many petitioning and calling for their release. Some claim that those charged are not even hackers, but political prisoners.

Catholics aren't taught to be hateful and spiteful against Non-Catholics.

Perhaps that is why they murdered all those people? They did it out of love?

They had well over 1000 years to get it right. They failed. Granted, they aren't burning people alive anymore, or massacring entire towns. They leave that to their loving 'god'. They just sodomize little kids and cover it up, and no one bats an eye about what their leaders have done. I suppose that is progress, of a sort. At least they don't murder those kids.

P.S. What do you suppose makes Protestants and Atheists and others such as yourself so driven by irrational and fixated hatred for people who aren't being hateful to them? Please give a serious explanation.

I personally consider being told to believe as "you" (used generically in this post) believe, or be tortured forever in "hell", is not nice. Of course, "you" don't even agree on what it takes to be "saved" from "hell".

I find it hateful to be told I am a worthless sinner, born in sin, and need a "savior" for simply being born a human being. THat's the kikes work. What better way to subjugate people than to make them believe they are born lower than whale shit and deserve punishment?

And, to top it off, "you" are commanded to get converts. The kikes get "you" to do their work for them.

But I do have some compassion on those that say these things. I used to say them to others myself. I did it, but it was out of ignorance and programming. I evolved out of it. If people would quit thumping their bibles and open them to read them with open eyes, they would leave it too. Read my sigline and click the link. He says it better than I can.

Is that serious enough?

Yes, thanks, but still doesn't quite explain the level of hatred from Protestants whose beliefs are much the same on the points you mentioned. Have you ever listened to this Pope? I suspect most who scorn him haven't. A wise and kind, gentle guide, imo.

I was a protestant but I had no problem with catholics as a group.

I am a satanist now, and I have no problem with individual catholics or protestants, but have a big problem with the 3 abrahamic 'faiths', because of what they have done in the past and what they continue to do to this planet.

As for the hatred between catholic / protestant, my own guess is that catholics see themselves as 'gods' true representatives and the protestants as interlopers. But that is just a guess. I never bothered with that crap when I was still a xtian.

I can scarcely imagine any group you wouldn't likewise have such big problems with then, under those standards -- that isn't mythical, anyway. Hatreds or whatever you want to call it that have to look backward all that far -- centuries and millenia even -- for "validation" examples with no consistency to speak of are so problematic, imo, as to be unhinged or borderline so. Does that sound much to you like Zionist reasoning to keep counting ancient enemies as unforgivable and due everlasting punishment?

Look around at the mountainous examples of Atheistic barbarity in the USSR, Communist China, the destruction of life and oppressions of polytheistic and pagan cultures of old -- even in moderntimes in some places, like in India. Does it all go away basically if you redirect any revulsions about that onto Monotheistic Abrahamic faiths? Do you ever consider how much worse the conditions of the world might be but for Christian believers who are imperfect and errant humans too but have tried mightily to correct their errors and the wrongs inflicted by whoever on others? You should -- or do you honestly think the world would be a vastly better place with much less history of religious wars and power struggles and sufferings as there have been if they were never here, trying to make themselves and their Churches a buffer against those things as they do from time to time?

As for the hatred between catholic / protestant, my own guess is that catholics see themselves as 'gods' true representatives and the protestants as interlopers. But that is just a guess. I never bothered with that crap when I was still a xtian.

Well, that doesn't quite explain either why Protestants so often exhibit very Unchristianlike loathing and illwill towards Catholics who are doing nothing at all to them to warrant it. I've seen it as so knee-jerk reactive and as such a widespread pattern among them that it's like they are being indoctrinated with enmity towards Catholics as a major part of their doctrinal belief systems. Although you are quick to ascribe a Superiority complex to Catholics, that is not any less so among Protestants by my observations.
