Let me preface my modest comments with the statement that I have nothing but contempt for both of our putative political parties, which are nothing but maildrops for financial contributions.
It would be the height of irony if all that Netanyahu (and all the 'pubbie pols that hang on his apron strings) accomplished in his activities the past weeks was to establish the groundwork for a republican rout in November.
Americans have had their fill of wars, and they are becoming dimly aware, in the benighted and media-numbed world that they live in that the Holy War being prepared for them is nothing that they want to get wrapped up in.
Five bucks a gallon and climbing. Can you say dem congress and president come January?
Can you say dem congress and president come January?
It certainly does look that way.
"The real deal is this: the royalty controlling the court, the ones with the power, the ones with the ability to make a difference, with the ability to change our course, the ones who will live in infamy if we pass the tipping points, are the captains of industry, CEOs in fossil fuel companies such as EXXON/Mobil, automobile manufacturers, utilities, all of the leaders who have placed short-term profit above the fate of the planet and the well-being of our children." - James Hansen
Looks like polls - both here and in that pesky "allied" state - are generally NOT in favor of attacking Iran.
I do not like obama, and I believe that he represents just one of two big globalist factions whose aims and strategies are no less repugnant than that represented by the neo-cons.
However, I see him benefiting greatly from this 'pubbie drive to war. Serves the bastards right.
For what it's worth, CNN has had this poll up for a couple of days.
