My son-in-law asked me what I thought about the group Anonymous and I told him that I thought they were a government front. I have read some articles that say they are and others just as adamantly say they aren't. Whether it started out as a government owned front or not it seems they have been infiltrated and some of the members turn to snitching when they get banged up. There is an article about one of them here.

Confusion was sewn during the French Revolution through what were called reading rooms where pamphlets containing relevant information (and dis- information) were available to read.
