Wellllll, as a gentleman, I will take your word.

In the military I ran across two pros that could gargle with a snoot full of whiskey, then swallow and smack their lips.

I had trouble drinking beer to maintain sanity.

Now beer is an insidious beverage.

One can drink a moderate amount, say six or seven quarts, and still imagine that one is comporting oneself like a civilized human being and not like a lunatic or a drooling savage.

Not nice to be spreading rumors.

In the Islands beer on the beach was ten cents a can. Enlisted swine, slugs, drones etc were segregated to the ragged end of the beach, separated by a barbed wire fence that extended to the breakers.

Good section was for officers, wives and mutants. Look but no touch.

Some senseless enlisted would wait til everyone was in water, way out, then holler "SHARK", watch everyone running like hell for high tide.

The enlisted swine would stay in the water, beer in hand, snickering, laffing, wetting themselves to see all elite running and screaming. After a time or two, the goody two shoes would call for the MPs. Then we would all leave with a dozen MP goons leering at the women.
