Jesus Lod! From what little I know about your ass ets (Ooops) you need a Trust, which when done right will include a will. How much are you willing to let the state get their hands on when you quit posting? I'd spend it all to keep them from getting a dime. See an estate planner or prepare to have 1/2 of anything you've socked away in paper assets go to the war effort.

It took my brother and me two years and 35K to get properties in two other states into our names, from our dad's bullet-proof trust. ha

To me, trusts are the least understood, and most over-hyped instruments that a blood-sucker can foist off on us.
