While I have no dispute of Jim's numbers as up front, they have gone governmental. Look closely at the budget. Decide for yourself. Any sentient being with more than two brain cells and one firing synapse has to know that Jim Rob does NOT need anywhere near the kind of money he is raising to run FR. But then margaritas and bread sticks don't grow on trees I reckon. And you can't give work to your whole family at exorbitant rates if you only asked for what it actually cost to run the site.
$376,000. He takes in more than that in cash donations per year that go unreported.
C'mon - give the guy a break. Dom Perignon ain't as cheap as it used to be - even if you buy it by the case.
Well, when he nuked me for no reason I could have given him a break if he had been anywhere nearby. But it's all good, I wore my nuking from that site as a badge of honor.
And you should wear it as a badge of honor. Some of the best posters on the 'net have been banned from FreepTardia. It is almost a right of passage to the upper tier. If you don't get banned from freeptardia then you are not seeing the world as it really is. It's kind of like the old "Banned in Boston" - a great recommendation. ;-)
There are a few of us who have never had an account at freeptardia and have not shared in the pleasure of the banning right of passage yet remain confident that our world view is stellar for having not gone the way of the grifter. lol

As I of the early denizens of Freakville, I often wonder about the makeup of those that stay and inhabit the place.
My exodus was anything but subtle. One day I'd just had it up to you know where and wanted to see how long it would take me to wear out my welcome. So I unloaded on Sr. Boosh with all the epithets at my command. I think it took about fifteen minutes for that crew over there to put a moderator on the case. I've never looked back.
