That's a serious tear jerker. I have a real soft spot for raggedy old dogs - by best buddy growing up looked the same except for the color - black topcoat and silver white underneath. His name was Rags and he was the bestest dog that ever lived - particularly to a young boy who I once knew. Scuse' me while I grab a kleenex or three.

I can not tell you how it makes you feel to save a poor little kid. And Op Smile does just that. But some have to get turned away because of a lack of about 300 bucks to save their life. Many of these kids never leave home and if they do it's with a sack over their head. HORROR! Real PEOPLE!! But it's good to see heart displayed anywhere, even if just for one of God's lesser creations.

Many years ago I was traveling across in my 1980 Datsun hatchback when I decided to stop at a rest stop to sleep. To my surprise a stray dog jumped in a trashcan and slept all night. When I left in the morning he jumped up and went about his doggie business.
