KSA to execute 25 Indonesian maids for alleged crimes Sun Apr 8, 2012 5:27PM GMT Share64 The Saudi Arabian regime has ruled to execute 25 Indonesian maids working in the kingdom over alleged crimes, a report says. According to a report published by Lebanese Ad-Diyar Arabic daily on Sunday, 22 other Indonesian maids have been acquitted and deported from the kingdom. Meanwhile, the Indonesian government plans to send a delegation to Riyadh for negotiations over the death sentences. Indonesian Embassy officials in Riyadh say six of the maids sentenced to death worked in the capital. About 1,700 Indonesian nationals are in prison in Saudi Arabia, the Indonesian Embassy says. The embassy has also called on Saudi officials to allow the visiting delegation from Jakarta to meet the Indonesian convicts. As i understand it, the death sentence can be imposed there for crimes like murder, rape, armed robbery, drug dealing, apostasy, adultery, and sorcery. It's hard to establish through published sources why these women were sentenced to death, but stories hint that many of these women offed their employers. These stories are often very murky. Westerners and Saudis often get preferred treatment in these sorts of crimes like the British nurse who was repatriated after being accused of killing a colleague in a Saudi hospital, or the Saudi woman who abused and tortured her maid and had the charges quashed. What did they do? Look a male in the eye? Scream no during rape? Their job properly? Those fucking Saudis are as bad as anything any day of the week.... They are slaves.
