No more Doles!! No more McCains!! No more RINOS!! NO ROMNEY!! Those who cannot stomach rebellion might as well start looking for a new home on the net!! Those who have ignored my hundreds of posts on this crucial issue or who have doubted me these last three or four years might as well get used to it. FR will never support the abortionist, homosexualist, socialist, mandate loving, constitution trampling liar Mitt Romney. In case you haven't noticed, a TEA Party rebellion is on and Free Republic signed on years ago. There is no turning back. No more crap from the GOP-e!! They've screwed us for the last time!! Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote. FR is and will remain a pro-life, pro-limited government conservative site!! We are beholden to NO ONE!! We bow to no kings!! We bow to NO RINOS!! I'd rather fight and die like a man than bend over and be screwed by a RINO!! I refuse to kiss Karl Rove or Mitt Romney's rings!! They can kiss my rosy red ass instead!! FUMR!! FUGOP!! Long live the rebellion!! Hope my message is clear.

I am glad to hear this man say that. He will lose a lot of support from sheep for this statement, but I am glad that he finally decided to stand for something again.

Long live the rebellion!! Mormon Marxist Mitt (3M) is not progressive enough for him, he's voting for Obama directly to make sure of four more years of kosher Bush neo-conservatism. He's gone back to his roots, a radical hate-America Fresno Democrat. Joined the 99% at Occupy Olive Garden, and is demanding government subsidized bread sticks. No bread sticks, no peace! The above is what Democratic Underground posters have distilled as the argument of those who think JimRob has derailed his train over this front runner GOP nominee want to be. I predict that Jim Rob's stand will cause too uch flack, hurt his snookerthon, and cause the powers taht be to lean on him and offer enticements for him to waffle in favor of Romney like he did when he ditched his opposition to GW Bush. The downside of that plan is that Obama would not be facing reelection in '16 so he could go all out... the "civilian army" he's talked about with oppressive tyranny at home not seen since Lincoln, coupled with ultra aggressive imperialism abroad. IOW, world wide totalitarianism. "A New World Order coming into view". Herbie Bush's nightmare is achieved, world wide slavery under New Black Panther leadership. There's just no good choice, between Mitts and O'racist. You know, RimJob does have a certain track record of these screeds against the GOP nominee followed by him endorsing that same nominee and banning anyone who says they won't vote for him. It's probably just the bleating of a Judas goat, leading lambs to slaughter. I'm sure FR's cat lady contingent was just quivering over Rimmy's fierce passion, his awesome defiance of the GOP elite.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Free Republic is largely irrelevant in this election where there is so much corporate and super pac money floating around. Used to be the FR gave them bang for their buck when they gave Rimjob his bribe money to go along with the GOP. Not any more, and Jimmie is pissed. Actually it was the very things he was obviously bribed to do that killed FreepTardia's influence. By being so obviously on the take and banning any and all who refuse to parrot the party line he made FreepTardia a laughing stock and a home to cranky Cat-Lady Zionuts. And despite his claims of patriotism it became obvious to anyone who really cares about the welfare of this Republic that he was a "Kept Patriot".
I saw the light when he supported Jeb Bush over the property rights fight that was the Sawgrass Rebellion. Jeb had pushed the government land grab and JimRob used FR to push for Jeb Bush's re-election. He would deep six anything related to the Sawgrass fight which was an offshoot of both the Elko Shovel brigade and Klamath Bucket brigade in fear it would harm Jeb. Ironically when I called him on it he stood on private property rights to validate his ability to do what he wanted with the forum. The hypocrisy was too much.
