I've heard about extremely advanced martial artists and metaphysical adepts who can perform similar feats. But have never witnesses the phenomenon on video.

Thanks for posting this.

Very cool. This follow-up vid is pretty compelling too:

I think someone posted that top vid here before. I've seen it.

Not to sound sarcastic, because I'm not, your vid reminded me of some of the pro wrasslin' I've seen. ;)

But I know it's not anything like that.

This is what's interesting about the so-called "occult". Live in a house all your life, and suddenly you find rooms you didn't even know existed. Which imo is precisely why the study and implementation of that hidden knowledge has been forbidden (except for the slavemasters). There is real power in it. IMO no one understands that power which is why there are all these various schools of thought, but it's real.

Somebody ought to tell the truth about the Bible. The preachers dare not, because they would be driven from their pulpits. Professors in colleges dare not, because they would lose their salaries. Politicians dare not. They would be defeated. Editors dare not. They would lose subscribers. Merchants dare not, because they might lose customers. Men of fashion dare not, fearing that they would lose caste. Even clerks dare not, because they might be discharged. And so I thought I would do it myself... Robert Ingersoll

IMHO the study and implementation is neither hidden nor forbidden, but to get the type of results you see in the video requires thousands of hours of disciple and mastery of the self to attain the skills. Such dedication is in short supply these days, so there are fewer and fewer students with the capacity to merit the teachers time and effort. Folks want the quick and instant results, not thousands of hours of dwelling in the mansions of self discovery and mastery.

In every field you find a master of anything--music, computers, personal energy, writing, mechanics--you find thousands of hours of time invested. It is precisely the time, dedication and commitment that separates the masters from the dabblers.

Now it isn't. You know what happened to those that did it in the past.

Everyone starts out as a dabbler. It takes time to find a compatible path. But imo one does not need to be a master to get results. Too, reading a few incomprehensible words in a book and maybe drawing some geometric shape and lighting a candle or 2 won't do any good either. If it was that easy, everyone would do it.

If you are looking in organized religion it is hidden, but only there. It is open and available if you look beyond that arena from multiple sources. Of course, I concede your point that the information is now more readily available with the Internet while obtaining a book or other information in the past could prove quite difficult. Still, there were always teachers. A Zen proverb goes: When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

It is the level of results that are determined by the level of effort. Sure, you can get "results" but mastery is another realm that requires a great amount of dedication and effort, IMHO.

Agreed.

But the results, while not spectacular, show that there is something to it that goes beyond coincidence(s). It's motivating.

And when it comes to information, I've found that the vast majority of "occult" books I've downloaded are not worth the bandwidth I used. Anyone can be an "occult" author, it seems. I'm new, and I can recognize total crap when I see it. Many can't even spell basic words, and I guess the editors can't do it either.

Forums aren't much better. Everyone wants to know how to summon a succubus, etc.

I don't know what to make of that video. It could just be a ruse. Then again, there are some Aikido videos which are somewhat similar, thing is, Aikido really does work, after many years of study of course.

It is pretty funny to watch, whether it's real or not. And yes, it could be staged as all of the guys who appear to get flung around everywhere appear to be students. The first vid seems better in that regard, of course.
