The take away here is the growing involvement of police into mundane matters.

What's wrong with calling the cops on a 6 or 7 year old kid? Kids do dangerous things like riding bikes & playing ball in the street./s. Now. Don't you agree that only a kook, psycho or freak would call 911 over such things?

Exactly! I had two intelligent and head strong boys. I would explain things and give reasons but there was always mamma will beat the crap out of you if you get out of hand. Small follow throughs made the threat real.

Now that is called "child abuse", back then Mom called it discipline.

My Mother had a strong left hand she used to ring my chimes now and again.

If it was a major offense, she would tell Dad when he got home, for instance get caught smoking. Got caught first time, consequently have never been a smoker. Thank them for that.

Not how it worked in our house. My husband would threaten with no results then he would resort to asking me to make them mind. All I would do is stand up and I would get results.

I remember one time at the grocery store, my oldest was acting up. I told him if he didn't straighten up I would beat him right there and no one would say a word cause he deserved it. The check out lady just smiled. He is a happy extremely well adjusted young man now.

things have changed.

The biggest change was when they gave a World War, borrowed money and invited us to participate.

Looking back to that time, there has been war nearly continuous since then.

We are still at war, hopelessly in debt and sometimes I question the change. Just perhaps hungry and poor is better than endless dying in far off wars.

I despised "rule book cops."

I operate on the saying, "It's easier to get forgiveness than permission," which means I don't follow some rules.

If I want to do something, I do it, get in trouble, then get forgiven.

Many years ago I had an apartment, did not like the color, and painted it. The landlord glared at me but that was all he did.

haha. Sorry, I could not resist the opportunity to draw a correlation between the cases. since you and everyone couldnt help but acknowledge as in this case, anyone calling the cops on a 6 year old is an absolute, undisputed, freaking loon. They represent the deranged state of america.

You dont have to know anything else about them. Someone calls the cops on little kids, theyre a loon. So far we are in agreement.

I am simply being consistent as ive stated for weeks now. Anyone who calls the cops on kids ins a loon, (including zimmerman).

It cant be, "yes sometimes they are loons, and other times it's perfectly normal to call the cops on tiny kids." That is a no go.

Fundamental basic principles remain the same. In 1853, or today, or in the future year, say 2195. It will always be looney to behave that way.

Be careful A. Jumping to conclusions or buying in to unsupported opinions prior to having direct access to the evidence, police reports and witness statements can result in a significant case of foot in mouth disease when the facts are eventually presented. I’m sure you’d want this for yourself or family. I suspect the cadre of clowns, politicians and celebrities who are wearing hoodies in support of Martin and calling for Zimmerman’s head on a platter will better understand the importance of discretion in these matters when all the facts are made public. Drop your edition of the NY Times and put away the rope. We simply haven’t access to all the facts yet.

I don't read the NY Times, I go by the facts. The city itself released the list of logs from the approx 50 911 call the kook made; acknowledged fact. Despite anything else we know or don't know, that list by itself proves beyond any doubt that like the person who called the cops on the 6 year old girl in this thread, they are both absolute undisputable looney kooks.

In addition, the wanna-be cop (btw, I called that one in writing 2 weeks before any proof of his admitted unsuccessful attempt to try to become a cop was released to the public. It is not by guesswork that I knew this.) he also could not even keep a job as an "under the table" secutity guard, and was fired from that job and even his supporters admitted that he "liked the power too much". as if security guards have power. shikes. These 3 items are admitted fact data and evidence of an unstable loon.

granted, that he is a loon does not mean he has been convicted of murder. But, he will be. I will come back & ping this thread when he's sent down the river.

I don't know about anyone else but the trends that I see being pushed into high gear have me spending more than a few sleepless nights. I've never felt stronger that we are about to tumble into the abyss. There are no political solution left for us and I have to agree with you, bloodshed is galloping toward us at a quickened pace. It's so very difficult to balance a "normal" life with what we know is coming. Part of me wants to spend each day as normal, but that inner voice we all have is screaming at me to get ready in every way possible. We have seen America at it's zenith and we're now about to watch it change radically, with the outcome a total unknown.

While I agree with the creeping totalitarianism we are facing, and it is late in the Fourth Quarter, but we still have time for a "Two Minute Drill". Now all we need is a "Sonny Jurgenson" (best 2 minute QB to ever play the game) to orchestrate it.

the 911 calls he made were for grass in peoples yards too long, dogs off leash, kids riding bikes, potholes, kids playing basketball in the street, and suspicious black 7 year olds. Zimm didnt murder any of those people, at least that I know of.

I know. It's been a long time for me to get anything done outside of looking after my health the last few years. I had a blood clot in my leg last year and they took care of it by injecting me with anticoagulant. Have to go into the hospital this week to get my blood and urine checked again. Soon, I hope to be drivng intrastate for Wal-Mart. Nice thing about that is, no log required. ;)

I had a blood clot in my leg last year and they took care of it by injecting me with anticoagulant.

Been there done that. Heparin shots in your stomach is nooooo fun. I ended up looking like a dalmatian. Sadly I have Lupus Anticoagulant Antibodies so I am prone to blood clots. I could not do professional driving because of it. I have trouble with the amount of driving I do now.
