I ran across this from the blog of a woman I know, who has a hemangioma on the left side of her face. She of course has some dating problems...although nothing like these people.
The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.
Oddly enough, one of the guys defended the program, saying it turns the people from Undateables (him) into Datables (them). So what the heck? Maybe it's not such a bad idea.
Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused to licentiousness.

All they need to do is start or join a 1%'er MC club, deal meth, do time, and when they get out, the women will be waiting, with open arms (and legs).
-------------------------------------------------------- Somebody ought to tell the truth about the Bible. The preachers dare not, because they would be driven from their pulpits. Professors in colleges dare not, because they would lose their salaries. Politicians dare not. They would be defeated. Editors dare not. They would lose subscribers. Merchants dare not, because they might lose customers. Men of fashion dare not, fearing that they would lose caste. Even clerks dare not, because they might be discharged. And so I thought I would do it myself...Robert Ingersoll
That's fine, but the point being, who TF spends time watching that crap.
I think there is a fascination with these people's lives and wanting to know how they survive. Then there is the thought, "I think I've got it bad? Maybe not."

I think this is Turtle's fascination. Turtle finds inspiration in the hope that he too may get a date one day. lol

"Believe nothing merely because you have been told it. Do not believe what your teacher tells you merely out of respect for the teacher. But whatsoever, after due examination and analysis, you find to be kind, conducive to the good, the benefit, the welfare of all beings - that doctrine believe and cling to, and take it as your guide. ~ Gautama Siddhartha The Buddha
