No other Republican Presidential candidate has ever received the enthusiastic popular support in the Republican Stronghold of Orange County that Ron Paul received in his visit to Cal State University, Fullerton, on May 3rd, 2012. 6000 enthusiastic fans crowded into the Titan Stadium, which was not designed to hold 6000. The line stretched around the stadium. Seats ran out, but supporters continued to pile in, standing to see their candidate. Mitt Romney has never received that kind of support in Republican Orange County.

And Ron Paul WILL endorse Mittless Romney.

The degree may be debatable, not the outcome. Even a NO endorsement would be a positive.

Santorum wanted promises, Newtie wanted money, prior to endorsing Romney. What will be Pauls price? Nothing? Just walk away with millions of dollars spent from loyal supporters?

My friend, in my early years as an "aware political animal" Ron Paul was the only elected MC that earned the respect of the "filthy ol' tax rebs" and fiercely independent Westerners with who I associated. I was as cynical as the majority about most politicians, Paul being the exception.

So, I don't quite understand why you think he'd pay lip service to American ideals that are nearly lost just for money, when every senator and representative who plays the game stands to amass a fortune while the media, the respective ethics and oversight committees of both houses and their own parties further reward them by keeping the team players' whoring, doping and influence peddling under wraps.

Paul has to live clean and even then they try to make him dance over written comments with which he did not and does not agree that were published in his newsletter 20 years ago.

Paul sure picked a difficult way to rake in the shekels when it would have been a simple matter to open his seine net and let corporations choke it full with tax deductible donations and honoraria.

As you know corporate America (or more precisely, Global Corp LLC) loves to collect politicians like charms on a bracelet. Why would Paul chop his own path through high elephant grass when congress has its own smooth and level Ho Chi Minh trail to carry the boodle off?

I just don't understand your reasons for the things you write.

Really quite simple.

Paul IS NOT IN THIS RACE FOR MONEY.

One has to look elsewhere.

This will be Pauls third and final run for the roses.

All WITHIN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY

Ron has been re elected twelve times as a republican, is now running for president as a republican. I accept his statement that he will always be a republican, one wing of this corrupt government.

Norman Thomas I believe ran for president six times, he is but a tiny footnote in the political history of this country.

Wait.... I thought Ron had been a libertarian for decades prior to the switch over to conventional party politics?

Ron Paul is a contradiction in the political arena.

He has pledged his soul to the republican party, many times. That being true, then he is indeed part and parcel of the "system".

This is his third and final go around in politics, thus when the dust settles in November, we will most likely know where he stands vs the system and if he was involved in any deal.
