Hard for me to believe Benton could get away with this sh** without official backing, but it's an interesting/encouraging message from Mr. Dawson, whom I usually agree with.

I agree, Christine...as I recall from 2008--there was some speculation about how Benton ran that campaign into the ground, remember? I don't know which Paul relative he's married to, but pretty sure that's true.
I'd like to believe that Dr. Paul was not associated with this announcement and Benton is the total culprit, but--really hard to believe his campaign would be so willy-nilly organized.
When I first saw the guy at the march in DC in 2008 I thought he was very strange looking. He kept looking out into the crowd from the stage like he was mad and quite honestly I thought he might be Ron Paul's body gaurd. I could have sworn he was looking right at me a couple times with his strange look. One thing is for sure, the guy doesn't seem too friendly or too smart.

Ricky, I'm not sure what I believe about this entire Ron Paul announcement. It seemed like he had a real chance at winning enough delegates, which is still happening, it appears. It's almost impossible to discern if this just is an announcement to squelch the movement. I wish Benton had been 86'ed long ago.
Benton is the one who said that Paul would consider a VP slot to romney, about 3 months ago. I pinged everyone to it at the time. Not the words of someone really out to win anything.

exactly correct. The message took the wind out of the sails & caused chaos & disappointment, right after the weekend where even the MSM said maybe Paul actually has a chance. Self-Sabatogue, freemason style. So obvious a fraud.
