Military to Avoid Embarrassing Pictures by Banning Photography Photos 'Only for Official Purposes,' General Warns by Jason Ditz, May 25, 2012 Print This | Share This It sounds like the punchline of a bad joke, but after years of dealing with photographs of troops torturing prisoners, desecrating corpses and generally behaving badly, commanders in southwestern Afghanistan have announced that they are going to solve the problem by banning photography. The command, which covers some 36,000 troops including 15,800 US Marines, announced that troops will only be allowed to take photographs for “official purposes,” and will no longer be taking “happy snaps,” apparently the official name for pictures like those showing US Marines urinating on corpses in the nation. “This isn’t rocket science,” noted Gen. Charles Gurganus, who emphasized that taking pictures of the various atrocities committed on the ground “can undermine the war effort.” Though the move will avoid these embarrassing moments for the administration, in many cases the photographic evidence of war crimes collected by the war criminals themselves are materially the only way they are ever discovered.

That is the real point. Evil hates Truth. Criminals???? Damn... We hire them, we pay them to kill or be killed and they are the criminals????? After WW2 we hung the generals and the leaders at the top, something wrong with this picture.
Hung Japanese for waterboarding. Because they were War Criminals. Never in my long life have I seen so many people ready and willing to sacrifice and or hang the lowly grunts. Our culture has changed for the worse when we went to a paid killer military. Hire some one to go so I wont have to, then deny all responsibility for their actions.
I wonder how they plan to enforce this new rule. Fear factor?

We'll import Jewish North Koreans to be instructors to the FBI. Then we'll be safe. Seems the "War Effort" is eroding support for the War Effort. Gotta keep killing people so General G won't have to work at Ace Hardware.
