Turning back to that page out of Stalin’s handbook for good citizenship, the Obama campaign has revived its program of asking Americans to inform on fellow citizens when they see someone, some organization, some politician, or some news outlet “attacking” the Obammessiah. Some of you may recall the black eye that team Obama got when it tried to do this before. Obama’s Attack Watch was heavily lampooned. (See Video Below) One of the best tools that the East German and Soviet regimes had to keep the average citizen of their oppressive regimes in line was a program that urged citizens to tattle on their neighbors, that taught children to tell on their parents, and expected workers to rat out their co-workers. If someone came to the government informing on a fellow citizen, that citizen was praised and rewarded. Now, Team Obama has gone all Stalin on us again with yet another such effort, this one called the Obama Truth Team. The new effort sports a page on the Obama-Biden website where you can “Fight Back: Report an Attack.” (See screen shot of page HERE) There, Team Obama gravely informs its acolytes that they can “report” on anyone not spouting Team Obama’s mantra. Received a robo-call or an email forward full of falsehoods? Found a misleading leaflet in your mail? Tell us about it, and help fight back against the attacks on President Obama and his record. There is also a hand-dandy form you can fill in to inform on whomever you think is not sufficiently sold on America’s Svengali in Chief. But, Obama has done this now at least four times. Along with today’s new effort, there was Attack Watch, Fight the Smears, and http://Flag.gov. Obama has indulged the tattletale system many times in his short tenure at the White House. The sad fact is that this whole mien is thoroughly anti-American. The chief form of free speech that our founding fathers were keen to protect was political speech. They wanted no limits on that speech. Not only that but they wanted a political discourse free of intimidation, too. So, for Team Obama to urge people to inform on each other over matters political is a disgusting, un-American thing to do. Unfortunately, it seems that such unseemly, un-American attitudes form the basis of the Obama worship we’ve become so inundated with these last eight years. It really is disgusting.

Thank you for your comments. Obama is the worst president we have had in my lifetime. It seems obvious to me that it gets/they get worse with every (s)election. But when we seem to be not just scraping the bottom of the barrel but have knocked the bottom out of it and have dug a huge hole with the Kenyan can you imagine how bad the next one will be if it follows true to form with each one being a bit (or a lot) worse than the one before? I am sending the following letter to the Obama Truth Team: To the Truth Team: Let me see if I have this correct. You are asking Americans to inform on fellow citizens when they see someone, some organization, some politician, or some news outlet “attacking” the POTUS while he spews lies to the citizens from his faux pulpit, consistently attacks others who have different political views, dishonors our Constitution on a daily basis and acts as though he owns us when, in fact, he is an elected official, not a dictator. While your team awaits such reports from people of like character as your boss and his handlers, I am going to ask my fellow Americans to rid our Whitehouse and the Halls of Congress of the trash now residing there. You and I go back to early FDR, so we have seen a few people populate the white House. To me FDR, LBJ and young Bush were the most dangerous for this country, endless wars, endless spending. I cannot wait to see how the election ends. When Bubbles Der Wunderchimp is defeated, the race riots will be biblical. Guaranteed. Obama will almost certainly be re-elected in November. Romney is simply too lame to be a real challenge. I am pretty much indifferent as to which one wins. But while both candidates are weak, those who are optimistic about Romney are only looking within their own party and the GOP alone cannot beat Obama. Vote absentee. It is a paper ballot Democrats don't mind war as long as they can have big government. Republicans don't mind big government as long as they can have war. As usual Obongo can count on 101 per cent of the black vote, but this time around I see many whites rejecting him as a total failure, as a man, and as a president.
But, perhaps with a different V.P. on the ballot? Perhaps, Hillary Clinton to seal up the women's vote.

At this point I think the categories of people who will vote for him at all has narrowed to just a few categories: Not that there is any meaningful difference between him and Oromney Yeah. But then they'll look again at how much Romney SUCKS, and they'll either stay home, vote third party, or re-elect Obama because he is the devil they know already. If the situation looks pretty hopeless with either candidate people may feel that sticking with the incumbent is more stable, and a lame duck president is less effective at pushing their remaining agendas, which is a good thing. I had a friend who told me that one thing they passed during Reagan's first term in office (iirc) was something called TEFRA (Tax Equalization and Fiscal Responsibility Act) and that it was actually the greatest increase in taxes during peace time ever.
