There is a lot to be said for this indictment of the Ron Paul movement. It's raised a lot of bucks, but in the last analysis it has not even earned a place at the table commensurate with its numbers. In fact, it hasn't earned a place at the table at all.
I'm afraid that what he says about RP is true in many ways. As Cyni says, all the energies put forth by Paul supporters in the end have only benefited Romney and gone to earn Rand a seat in the very councils where those vultures sit whom we all despise.

Should this prove to be the case, as it looks more and more likely; then I'll have to join others here in sitting out participating on the national level, and concentrate my little efforts here in the local arena.

Sadly, far too many of my friends here on 4um have not done their homework, nor at least given much time to considering that, JUST PERHAPS THE SYSTEM WAS GAMING ALL OF US.
Rand Paul was the answer, to anyone with an open and curious mind. Anyone watching and listening to Rand would never have supported his Father.
I had someone on the 4um post the add that Rand has posted on the internet, looking for money to break all big labor unions. No one paid any attention.

Good for him. They need to be broken. Unaccountable, lazy government scum like yourself should not be burdening those who pay their wages by making more than their corporate peers who pay their wages. Losers like yourself who couldn't make it without a government handout shouldn't have a better retirement that those who actually pay your salaries.
