Between the Secret Service detail and the massive renovation on Romney's $12 million beach house, it's not hard to see why the candidate is having a hard time making friends. To make matters worse, Romney reportedly has a habit of demanding that his neighbors quit smoking pot on the beach. Times reporter Michael Barbaro writes: "A young man in town recalled that Mr. Romney confronted him as he smoked marijuana and drank on the beach last summer, demanding that he stop. The issue appears to be a recurring nuisance for the Romneys. Mr. Quint, who lives on the waterfront near Mr. Romney, said that a police officer had asked him, on a weekend when the candidate was in town, to report any pot smoking on the beach. Well, this settles it for me. Mitt for president - less governmental interference, more freedom!!!! Horrray! Reminds me of a story that happened back in Chicago. There was a freak who would ride around and hit on girls walking alone down the street. He hit on a girl I knew, and she came and told me about it. I said,"Let's go." She was with her girlfriend and we all piled into my Blazer and took off. We spotted this guy a few blocks from the High School and I pulled a U-Turn and got behind him. He pulled over and waited for traffic to come, then pulled out again. I had to wait for a few cars to go by before I could pull out. We caught him at the gas station next to the Post Office. I got out with a length of top rail from a fence I put up. He had his window open about half way. I was hitting his window with the pipe, and it was vibrating. He was saying how he was going to get gas. I told him, "Not here, you're not." He took off. The girls got his tag number and I told them to write it down and give it to the school cop. Turns out the jerk lived right across the street from the school. The cops put a good looking blonde lady cop out front of his place. He came popping out the door and spots her. He walks up to her and says, "Hey, baby, how about we go upstairs and smoke a joint?" She gives the signal and they bust him. Then, they go upstairs and find weed. He is sitting in the shitter and I find out about it. I tell the guys in the 'hood, "Get some ball bats and let's go." We all pile into my Blazer and head over to the High School. I spot his car and point it out. Then, I go around the block and they jump out a few doors from the car and take out all of the windows. They run and jump back into the Blazer down the street. A few weeks later I see the same guy driving down the street still up to his old tricks. I follow him and he pulls over. I have a girl in the truck with me and I tell her to get down. I pull up along side of him and tell him, "I see you're still up to your old tricks." And I was outta there. Too funny. I have the feeling that there won't be any pot at the La Jolla beach if Mittens becomes prez. Call it a psychic premonition.

There's an awful lot of house fires in California. Romney needs to show more compassion. Not everyone can have access to Romney's intoxicant of choice: political power. Let the people have their pot. Vote absentee. It is a paper ballot Democrats don't mind war as long as they can have big government. Republicans don't mind big government as long as they can have war. Got a source for that in the medical literature?
