Man charged with rape was deported twice By Patrick Wilson JOURNAL REPORTER Wednesday, November 9, 2005

A Winston-Salem man charged in connection with a series of rapes in Winston-Salem and Greensboro had been deported to Mexico twice, but he returned to the United States, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said yesterday.

Gilberto Cruz-Hernandez, 24, is being held in the Forsyth County Jail with bond set at $2 million. Immigration agents have a detainer on him, which is a legal device used to hold someone accused of breaking immigration laws.

He will be deported again if he is released after serving any sentence he receives for the criminal charges, which include five counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, one count of sexual offense and related burglary charges.

Police arrested Cruz-Hernandez in Winston-Salem on Oct. 28 after DNA evidence tested at the state's crime labs linked him to a series of rapes that happened in February in Winston-Salem, a police statement said. A few days later, he was charged in connection with three sexual-assault cases that occurred in Greensboro in May 2004 and January and February 2005.

In most of the cases, the attacker's face was covered, and he threatened women with a gun as he attacked them in their apartments and houses, investigators said.

Cruz-Hernandez was arrested by federal immigration agents in Greenwood, S.C., in April 1997 and deported to Mexico, ICE said. He was arrested again by border-patrol agents in Douglas, Ariz., in October 2002 and again deported to Mexico.

In Winston-Salem, Cruz-Hernandez was living at 385 Camden Ridge Drive.

Tax records show that he and a woman have owned that house since February 2004.

This isn't a shock, or a surprise. Here's why.

Every year, children go missing in the United States. A lot of whom are abducted, raped, and murdered by illegal aliens.

Every year, crimes are committed by illegal aliens, and they abscond back to their homelands, only to come back after the heat is off, to re-offend.

This is absolutely no surprise to me. It has happened numerous times in Minneapolis, because we're becoming a sanctuary city for illegal aliens. What happens when the illegal aliens become a powerful lobby? They are untouchable.

That is the problem in America, we've lost sight of the fact that Illegal Aliens, ARE CRIMINALS, END OF STORY. They flout our laws, they do not respect the rule of law, and come here illegally, in order to steal money from our economy, and send it back to the hellhole they come from. THEN... They have the nerve to demand subsidization, equal rights, welfare, educations for their anchor children, and when one of them commits a heinous crime, they're the first ones to smuggle their piece of shit criminal friends back to where it is they come from.

All the while, they are outbreeding American Citizens nearly 5 to one.

If you think Paris and France were having fun, imagine what would happen in this country if the climate were right? There wouldn't be one anglo left.

Yes, you are so right! The problem is that our President keeps telling Americans that "they are only here to do those jobs Americans will not do" and alot of Americans are so blind to the reality of how HUGE this crime element is regarding the illegals. I "preach and teach" to everyone who will listen and I think I have opened a few eyes to this problem, at least I hope I have! Sooner or later, we here in America may face the riots like are happening in France right now and I am doing whatever I have to in order to protect my family. I'm making sure that I have my guns and ammo nearby. I hate to think I would ever have to use them, but will if necessary. I refuse to be attacked or raped, robbed, whatever, without at least putting up a fight, and by any means necessary!
